Brooke Forbes was no stranger to hangovers. In her teenage years she had become so adjusted to them that she could sit through an entire day at school without once throwing up or having anyone even notice how shit she felt inside. However, being a vampire meant that her tolerance for alcohol was a lot higher than before, so she consumed more of it, meaning that the next-day hangover was worse than ever before.

When her eyes first opened, the brightness from the sun hit her with a searing pain and she immediately shut them again, but now she was awake and could feel the discomfort of something lodged under her back.

With some considerable effort Brooke managed to twist her arm underneath her and pull the hard object out, which turned out to be an empty beer bottle.

Brooke nearly shuddered at the smell and dropped it, and only then did she finally take in her surroundings.

She wasn't at home, that was for sure, but it appeared she had wound up on the living room sofa of the Mikaelson's, and she wasn't alone. Curled up in the armchair was Rebekah, and asleep on the other sofa was Kol.

Brooke groaned and pushed herself up slightly, the sound of which woke up Rebekah.

"What the hell happened last night?" Forbes croaked out

Rebekah groaned and shook her head, "Too loud"

"Good morning!" Klaus suddenly bellowed as he walked into the room, causing both girls to clap their hands over their ears and whine, and Kol nearly rolled onto the floor with a shock. "Well, don't all of you look happy?" he said with an arrogantly irritating beam.

"Go away" said Rebekah, blindly throwing a pillow in his direction.

He laughed, "Please if any of you are going to throw up don't do it on my furniture"

Brooke sighed and begrudgingly opened her eyes, and she asked "What the hell happened last night? Last thing I remember is us talking to the bartender"

Rebekah rolled her eyes "I remember Brooke announcing she wanted to leave for takeaway food. I thought she meant crap food, but it turned out to be the takeaway woman herself

"Who" Kol said as he weakly sat up too, "Was delicious by the way"

Brooke grinned tiredly and was going to say something but then she noticed that Kol was shirtless, and then her eyes drifted down to her own top, which was covered by the grey shirt he had been wearing the night prior, and her heart about dropped. "Please tell me we didn't"

Rebekah shook her head "No you didn't. At least not all the way"

Flashback, last night....

The first few humans had been easy to feed on in the crowd without too much notice or challenge, and Kol had decided he wanted to up the stakes and the risk a bit more, to make their night even better.
