After the emotional turmoil of yesterday, Brooke had hoped to have some time alone with her thoughts. She was confused about Damon and Elijah, and still pissed at Damon, and so relieved that Bonnie was okay, but just completely drained from everything that happened.
However, yet again luck was not on her side because before she could even wake up, her phone was ringing.
Begrudgingly, the bed-headed girl snatched her phone from the bedside table and pressed answer, her eyes still closed.
"Hello?" she croaked
"Thank god" hissed Elena "I need your help. I'm at Stefan's and I went downstairs to wake up Elijah, because we need his help to defeat Klaus, but his body is gone"
Brooke sighed, rubbing her tired eyes. "Yeah, I know"
"You what?" she gasped "How do you know? Where is he?"
"I woke him up" she said "And I know where he is. So I'll call him and then come pick you up. And do not tell anyone about this" With that said, she hung up on Elena, and then called Elijah.
"Brooke" he said "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
She smiled, still thinking of him comforting her last night. "Elena and I need to talk to you, alone"
He hummed. "Why should I risk my own safety for her?"
"Because she wants Klaus dead as much as me" said Brooke "And we need your help."
Silence came from his end, and Brooke bit her lip nervously. "Alright" Elijah said finally "I will send you a meeting point. Meet me in half an hour. Alone."
The connection ended, and Brooke beamed. She threw her duvet off of her, and then opened her wardrobe doors, pulling out some black jeans, white converse, lilac bodysuit, and a white thin bomber jacket.
Once she was ready, she got in her car and headed to Elena's where the brunette was waiting on the pavement.
"So" Elena said as they drove off "Do you want to tell me why you woke up Elijah?"
She chuckled. "Because Stefan and Damon are idiots if they think them or Bonnie are enough to defeat Klaus. He's too strong, and he'll kill all of us and our families if they get their way, so we need help, and Elijah is the only person who can do that."
"Then why didn't you tell us?" asked Elena
Brooke snorted. "Yeah, that would have gone well. Imagine if I had told my boyfriend I woke up the very original who he daggered. That wouldn't have gone over well, so I didn't tell anyone"
Elena nodded. "You know that when Damon finds out, your relationship is on the line"
She shrugged "Well maybe that will teach Damon not to let my best friend die, and not tell me that she was okay"
