"He was in my room last night Rodrigo, I swear it took everything in me not to pull the trigger and bury his goddamn body,” I said in anger.
" I would have helped you, what was he even doing in your room?” Rodrigo asked.
" Exactly, exactly the question I asked him and the bastard mocked me in the face, in my own room, we really need to go ahead with our plan A real quick Rodrigo, I can't stand the thought of that man not to talk of marrying him, I'll go crazy,” I said with a sigh as I fell on my chair.
Today was my first day in the office and Rodrigo came to give me flowers. His way of cheering me up.
My father made me the manager of one of his hotels and I know he's going to expect so much from me. It's going to be tough.
“ Rosabella said she's still thinking of a way to enter his life without looking suspicious,” Rodrigo said and I couldn't help but sigh as I rested my head on the edge of the table.
" Cheer up bestie, you're not going to marry him, fate isn't going to be that cruel to you,” He said as he patted my head as I brought up my head to look at him.
" What if fate decides to be cruel and make me marry that man, I'm going to die Rodrigo, or I'm going to prison, because it's either I kill that man or he kills me,” I said as I turned away from Rodrigo to blink back tears.
“ Don't think about that now, just enjoy your first day as a manager, get to work and don't let the thought of him disturb you," He said and I nodded as I straightened up.
“ I think I'm just emotional, letting him get to me, I'll focus on my work and I won't let the thought of him bother me," I said with a nod as I adjusted my hair pushing it behind my shoulder.
“I have to go to work now, I'll see you later at dinner," He said and I stood up as he wrapped his hands around me.
“ Take care my little evil witch," He said as I playfully hit his shoulder and he just chuckled before he pulled away.
“ Have a lovely day," I said.
“ You too," he said as he kissed my cheeks before walking to the door, he turned to me one last time and waved before he opened the door and walked out.
I sighed as I turned to my table that already had work waiting for me just the first day.
Without wasting time I sat down on my chair as I got to work.
I was working when I heard a knock on my door.
“ Come in please," I said and my secretary walked in.
“ Ma'am there's somewhere here to…” She didn't finish what she wanted to say, he walked in.
" I've got this,” I said to her and she nodded before walking out.
" What are you doing here?” I asked but instead of answering he just looked around my office.
" Nice," he whispered before he turned to me as my eyes went to the bouquet in his hand.
" You know if I didn't know you I'd say this is the perfect office for an angel, only problem is that, you're not,” He said but I just folded my hands looking at him before I stood up.
“ And you think you're an angel? I don't want you in my office, you're going to ruin my day, so get going," I said.
“ That's exactly what I came to do my dear," he said as he stretched the bouquet forward.
" You think I'm going to take that?” I asked and I looked at the bouquet like it was dirt, I didn't care that he was holding my favorite flowers.
“ How bad, but your parents already know I was bringing you flowers, my goal is already achieved,”
" You're just a sick twisted man and whatever plan you have going on in your head isn't going to work, so get lost,” I said but he just chuckled.
" The only sick twisted thing here is you,”
“ Please get out of my office before I say something you won't like," I said as I pointed to the door.
" What? You're going to call me crippled boy?” He asked but I didn't give him any response, all I wanted was for him to just leave my office.
He just walked to my table and dropped the flowers.
“ Get that thing off my table before you give me bad luck,” I said, making an irritated face.
“ Aren't you enough bad luck to fill an entire room?" He asked with a raised brow.
“ What is wrong with you? You can't just walk into my office and insult me, who do you think you are?”
" Your husband to be,” I felt my heart instantly flame up with anger.
" Get out! Get out of my office before I call security,” I snapped and he just laughed before shaking his head.
" I'll enjoy living with you, do have a bad day, wife," he said before he smirked and then he turned away from me and walked out of the door.
Bastard!
I took the bouquet and threw it on the floor, arrogant jerk, I'll die before I marry him, never!
The note in the bouquet caught my attention and without thinking much of it I picked the note and slowly opened it.
‘ Have a bad day wife, I can't wait to have you where you belong’ the note read.
And then he ended it with;
‘ I hate you,’
I squeezed the note in anger as I walked with the bouquet to the trash can and threw them inside.
This is a challenge and I won't be the loser.
He started this, but I'll end it.
