I walked outside the house as I looked around for Antonio but I didn't see him outside either.

I decided to take a stroll around the beach. Maybe he went out for a walk or something. But after my little stroll, I still didn't see any sign of that God forsaken man. Why was I even looking for him? He could drown himself for all I care.

I opened the house door as I walked in and I almost screamed until I recognized the person standing in front of me and looking at me like an alien.

“ That was pretty fast," I said as I walked to him and hugged him, immediately feeling better than I had been since coming to this place.

“ Where's your husband?" He teasingly asked,

“ I don't know, don't ask me about that man," I said as I walked to the couch to sit down and he followed,

“ What do you mean you don't know, did he leave you here?" Now that he mentioned it, what if that guy got tired of all our drama and decided to leave without telling me?

“ I don't know but I was in my room when I heard something shatter downstairs, I thought it was him but when I came down, I didn't see any sign of him, looked around but yet nothing," I said with a shrug,

“ That's crazy, I thought you both were supposed to be on a honeymoon. Why would he leave you all alone? I know the beach house is safe but leaving you alone isn't funny,” Rodrigo said in anger as he looked towards the door. I followed his line of sight thinking I'd find Antonio standing there but there was no one.

" Did you bring the clothes? That bastard wouldn't lend me any of his,” I said and he nodded toward the bag that was sitting in a corner.

" Thanks Rodrigo," I said as I hugged him.

" Well, I think I better start going, I don't like to interrupt honeymoons,” he said as he stood up and I did the same.

" You're going? Aren't you going to help me look for Antonio?” I asked,

“ Are you that worried about him?” He asked and I scoffed,

" I'm not, I just don't want to be accused of his death if something were to happen to him, so help me look for him,” I said and Antonio chuckled,

" Okay, Mrs Gonzalez,” he said before we both started checking every room in the house and still Antonio was nowhere to be found.

“ This isn't funny, I swear if I find out that man is messing with me I'm going to do something he'll regret, because this is not a joke anymore," I said with a sigh as Rodrigo turned to me like he was going to say something but he stopped himself.

" What were you going to say again? That I'm worried about my husband? Indeed,” I said with an eye roll and he just shrugged.

After checking the entire house and every possible room there was, I still didn't find Antonio.

Well I tried my best. What if he went for a swim and drowned? As much as I didn't like him, I didn't want him to die, I was too young to be a widow.

" Are you sure your husband is not messing with you?” Rodrigo asked and I turned to him with a glare.

" Stop calling him my husband,” I warned,

" But that's what he is to you,”

" Doesn't mean I like being reminded about that fact, so fucking shut up,” I said,

“ Look, I've got things to do and I'm not supposed to be here, whatever game you and your husband is playing don't drag me into it, I know he's somewhere around here and my hunch strongly tells me he's messing with you. I have to go," he said and I pouted.

“ You're leaving me," I said, wiping fake tears.

“ You're on your honeymoon Lilian, leave me alone,” he said as we started walking downstairs.

I grumpily walked Rodrigo to the door. Although I told him to stay with me a little he still insisted on leaving. It was like he knew something I didn't and I didn't find that funny.

After Rodrigo left, I closed the door before I walked to the sitting room to watch TV. At least he was not here, which means I'll have less murderous thoughts.

I dropped the remote I was holding as I walked to the kitchen where the broken glass pieces were still on the floor. I really don't get, why would he shatter glass and then just disappear? Was he angry or something?

I bent down as I started picking the bigger pieces of the broken glass, I think I wasn't being careful enough as one of the broken pieces cut my finger and I hissed in pain.

I put the injured finger in my mouth and stood up before my feet would be next.

Fuck Antonio, he did this mess and now I had to clean it. I opened the tap then I put the finger under the hot water to stop the bleeding. After stopping the bleeding, I cleaned the broken pieces, this time more carefully using a broom.

For some reason my eyes went to the door like I was waiting for it to open. I didn't give a shit about him, he could go ahead and stay wherever the fuck he was, it's none of my business.

Sun came down and everywhere was beginning to get dark and there still wasn't any sign of Antonio.

If by morning I don't see him, I'm leaving this damn place. With that in mind I got up from the living room as I made my way to my room to get some sleep, with or without my husband.
