Something Sophia hadn't expected to come from this whole situation was having to rebrand herself from the inside out.

When it came to Silena Beauregard, she wasn't exactly a book loving nerd who baked in her spare time. And of course Sophia would never stop doing those things, but it was pretty obvious that fans liked the illusion of someone being type-casted 'perfectly'.

And she needed to be perfect.

So the night before they left on the plane she binged the whole Percy Jackson series. She took mental notes. She replayed scenes. She tried to ignore the fact that she would meet so many of these people within the next 24 hours.

And lastly, she remembered Walker talking about the fanbase on instagram, and all the art and videos they'd make. She soon discovered that by art he meant memes and by videos he meant edits and weird thirst traps. She could've scrolled for hours it was so overwhelming.

This is why she's never on her phone.

Comic-con day was here, and the cast was in San Diego, including Sophia. It was decided that she would come out during the panel to surprise the fans, though she couldn't quite wrapped her head around the fact that she'd soon have a room of thousands applauding her.

But if the fans hated her at least she knew they'd love her outfit, because the wardrobe team knew what they were doing. They even gave her the cutest white heeled mary jane's to wear for shoes.

She could hear the buzz of all the comic-con goers as she followed others down a back hallway, trying to slow down her heart rate. She hoped her nerves would settle soon.

The second Sophia stepped into the private room reserved for their group, she was greeted by Leah and Aryan, Walker trailing behind.

Leah ran up to her, or more like took rapid shuffling steps towards her as she almost burst with excitement. She gave Sophia a tight squeeze.

"Ahhh Soph!" She immediately defaulted to a nickname. "It's so nice to finally meet you, I've been dying to ever since Walker mentioned you got the part!"

Sophia smiled, squeezing her back before they let go. "Oh thank you so much! I seriously can't believe this is happening, it's like some crazy dream I never wanna wake up from." She shook her head in bewilderment.

Aryan tapped his cast mate's shoulder.

"So actually Leah, other people wanna meet Sophia too." He budded in sarcastically, a wide goofy grin breaking over his face. Aryan stuck his hand out for a fist bump, and Sophia happily raised hers to meet it.

"Congrats man!" He commented brightly.

"Thanks!"

The other three went out for a photo opp, which Sophia couldn't attend for obvious reasons. So instead she got to spend time meeting other actors and people who were on the cast. She had just finished speaking with Adam Copeland when a gentle hand rested on her shoulder, and she looked back to see Rick Riordan standing behind her.
