The press schedule started up the next day, and there were so many more cameras than Sophia was expecting.
But thankfully, their first few days were easy. A few games, some would-you-rather questions, and a what's in my bag were the only things on their schedule. All of the videos would most likely get posted to the official social media before the show's premiere in a few weeks. No interviews yet.
During the takes she was either placed in a group with the girls, or all of the younger cast members. That included her, Walker, Leah, and Aryan.
It was almost a week later, and the four of them were lounging around the hotel on their day off. Their rooms were connectedy by a door in the middle, and they were all currently on the boys side, trying to clean up the mess the guys had managed to make over the past few days.
Dior, Daniel, and Charlie had all left a bit ago to shoot some separate interviews, so the four of them had the whole place to themselves.
"Seriously, y'all are gross." Leah grumbled as she picked up a dirty sock, throwing it right at Aryan's face. He dodged it and it went flying over his head, smacking Sophia on the shoulder.
"Ew, Leah!" Sophia crinkled her face in disgust as she kicked it away from her, Leah slapping her hand over her mouth as she stifled a laugh. She was quickly silenced by Aryan throwing a perfectly aimed shoe at her stomach.
Sophia was making one of the beds, and had just reached over to fold up a corner of the comforter when a pillow flew across the room and hit her right in the face. Walker pumped his fist in the air triumphantly.
"Direct hit!" He beamed, easily dodging the pillow as Sophia chucked it back across the room. She couldn't hold back her smile at the pure elation on his face. She'd really missed that look.
Sophia finally finished making the bed, flopping down onto it and staring up at the ceiling fan above her. A light thump came from beside her as Walker did the same from the opposite side, his head parallel with hers. They both laid there and listened as Leah chased a terrified Aryan out of the room, wielding the same shoe he had hit her with.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Walker asked lazily.
"How hard I'm gonna throw a pillow at you when you're not looking." She smirked and turned her head to face him, but he was already doing just that. There was another beat of silence before she spoke again.
"It's so weird to finally feel okay after so long. Y'know?" She waited for him to nod before she continued. "Besides the obvious fact that the fans hate me, everything's just so quiet."
Walker smiled. "Welcome to not living a borderline traumatic life every single day." He propped himself up on his forearm, looking down at her. "And I bet the fans will mellow out soon, especially once we start to do appearances and the premiere and all of that."
