The door swung open and Walker smoothly stepped out, the noise of the crowd flooding into the car and the flashes from the cameras speeding up alarmingly at his appearance. Sophia slid as gracefully as she could to the door, muttering the whole way until right before she stepped out.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck."

The camera flashes were definitely bright, and she put on what she hoped was a pleasantly soft smile, trying to ignore the shocked gasps from the crowd.

"No, is that her!?"

"Look at the camera Miss! Over here!"

"SOPHIA OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU."

She waved politely before she turned to Walker, who stood with his hands folded in front of him. He flashed a movie star smile, gesturing for her to go ahead. Sophia took a deep breath before ascending the stairs, holding her dress up as she made it through the doors.

Turning around to wait for Walker, she clutched the handle of the her bag in both hands, finding herself scanning the crowd that was outside the doors. Her heart dropped when she thought she saw a familiar head of dark hair belonging to a very unsettling individual. Her mind flashed back to the note. Snakelike eyes.

'See you soon?'

"Hey you okay?" Walker appeared next to her, and she snapped out of her squinty trance, giving up on placing the person in the crowd.

"Yeah...yeah just thought I saw someone." She smiled. "I'm good."

The venue was modern with accents of gold and marble, huge exotic plants dotting the whole place. They moved further into the crowd of guests, all dressed remarkably fashionable. She stuck close to Walker, who waved the occasional hello to people she assumed he already knew.

They were stopped for pictures many times, whether it was with celebs who liked the show, or some sort of entertainment organization. Her cheeks hurt from smiling so much.

After a few minutes Walker leaned down, talking in her ear. "We have to walk the carpet first, and then all that's left is watching the preview and going home." She nodded, following him as they were lead into a queue of people.

Someone behind them suddenly grabbed onto their shoulders, making her jump a mile high.

"Sorry kid! Didn't mean to scare you. Not that time at least." She looked behind her. It was Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds was touching her shoulder.

Walker beamed, giving Ryan a hug, which he returned in a very fatherly manner. Sophia attempted to step away and let them have a moment, but she was pulled into a side hug too, and she gave in, knowing there was no harm to it.

After a moment Ryan pulled away. "Haven't been keeping up with you as much as I should bud, sorry about that." He clapped Walker on the back as he pointed to Sophia, looking down at her over the edge of his stylish indoor sunglasses. She stood there stiff as a statue.

"Who's this one? Girlfriend?"

Her eyes widened at the comment, and Walker nervously laughed as he shook his head. "No no no, she's just my cast mate. Sophia Foster."

Ryan looked absolutely confused. "Not your girlfriend? Really Walker, I thought you of all people would know it when you met a pretty girl." He whispered comically loud. "It's not too late to change that status you know."

"Okay!" Walker clipped off the end of the man's sentence, frantically rushing the two of them away from him as he waved over his shoulder. "We've gotta go, see you later!"
