—————— 1 month later ——————"LEAH! Where'd you put my perfume, I can't find it!"
Sophia shouted, hoping her voice broke through the closed bathroom door next to her.
"Uh, check your makeup bag?!" Leah's response was slightly muffled, and Sophia finished hooking in her earring before frantically diving her hands into the mentioned black pouch. No luck.
"It's not here!" She shouted back. When she didn't get an answer, she pulled the door open, wobbling slightly in her short white pumps.
They had already gotten hair and makeup done for the premiere, but both had to decided to run back to their own hotel room to add the finishing touches.
It was an absolute whirlwind of double checks and last minute add-ons. I mean, not every night was your first premiere as an actress, so Sophia was slightly losing it.
She luckily found her perfume lying on the bed, and picked it up, giving herself a few spritzes. Leah stood in front of the full length mirror across the room, nervously smoothing out her dress.
"Is this stupid? I feel like I look stupid." Her brows were knit together with worry, but Sophia didn't have the slightest idea why. She looked like an absolute goddess. Her sleek deep blue gown with silver accents was nothing short of magic.
"I didn't think you could get any prettier, but trust me when I say that dress proved me so wrong." Sophia scooted behind Leah, throwing her arms around her shoulders and giving a tight squeeze. "You look stunning. I pinky promise."
Leah rolled her eyes good naturedly. "Says you! Eating it up, as usual." She pulled away to give the brunette a little twirl, to which she happily performed.
Sophia was absolutely head over heels in love with her premiere dress. It was just understated enough to not draw too much attention, but still so elegant and soft that any daughter of Aphrodite would have fit it perfectly.
It was a soft peony pink, the bottom made of silk that cascaded down from her waist, hovering just above the floor thanks to her heels. By contrast the bodice was fitted and trimmed with lace, and the off the shoulder sleeves draped perfectly across her skin. The makeup team had applied a soft golden shimmer that trailed across her collarbones, accentuating the glowiness even more.
Everything about it was stunning.
In addition, she had small pearls littered throughout her beach-waved hair, and various delicate pearl bracelets and rings that finished it all off perfectly.
"Oh! I almost forgot my necklace." Sophia teetered in a small circle, eyes scanning the room. Leah moved anxiously to the door, glancing at her phone in distress.
"We gotta go, come on!"
Sophia's eyes finally locked on the small accessory, and she snatched it from the nightstand. "Sorry sorry, got it!"
Without further ado, the two girls raced out the door, slamming it shut behind them.
One quick elevator ride later, they stopped in the lobby where everyone else was waiting. It had been sectioned off from the public, which in her opinion was a bit much, but at least it meant they wouldn't get swarmed right away.
