On that Friday:

Tae went to a restaurant where Taekook used to go mostly every Friday for a candle night dinner.

This is one of the places where their beautiful memories were there.

The place where Kook used to dedicate songs to her every week with his melodic voice.

They took their relationship to the next step with every moment they spent together.

For the past four years, Tae has been going to the same restaurant on Fridays, and sometimes Jimin has accompanied her.

She sings her heart out. In this restaurant, people can also sing without showing their faces, and Tae was glad about that offer.

She went behind the room and asked the manager to greet him, who was already waiting for her arrival.

Manager: "Ms. Kim, So late, huh?"

Tae: "Yeah, just got busy with some work, Uncle."
They had both been close for years, and the manager's uncle knew about Taekook because he was one of those people who witnessed their pure bond.

But he(the manager) never asked Tae about her personal life, which included about Kook and only about Kook, making Tae feel safer and comfortable around him.

Manager: "Go ahead. Little champ."
He said with a smile. To this, Tae reflected with a smile.

She said on the stool, started singing, "ALMOST LOVER."

As she sang, tears streamed down her face like every Friday.

The little moments of their happy times she appeared before her eyes, only to vanish before she could touch them.

Past:

As Kook ended singing a song for her, he came down the stage and spun Tae, who was standing for him near the steps of it.

And he kissed her on her forehead and led her to their usual table.

Tae: "Bun, why is a voice so angelic?"
She asked, caressing his cheeks and kissing him on the mole under his lip.

Kook: "Because you are listening to it, love."
He says, pecking on her lips.

Tae: "Only for me."
She hugs his hand possessively, making Kook chuckle at her and kiss her forehead.

Kook: "No one else, my baby love."
He says, pulling a chair for her.

He reached across the table, taking her hand in his, their fingers intertwining.

The world around them seemed to fade away as they shared this moment, their connection deepening.

Tae: "I can't believe how lucky I am to have you."

Kook: "Luck has nothing to do with it. I'm the lucky one."

They shared a soft, knowing smile. The waiter arrived with their drinks, breaking the spell, but the magic between them remained.

Kook poured juice for both of them, his gaze never leaving Tae's.

Tae: "To us and many more moments like this."
