It’s been 3 days since Kook and Tae met.

He didn’t text her or call; the same goes for Tae.

She was mostly sleeping because of the medicine’s effect.

It was Friday that day, and Kook went to the restaurant they used to go to in the past.

The moment the manager saw Kook, he directly bee-lined toward him and asked how he was, also mentioning how Tae comes here almost every Friday and spends time there.

In the past 3 days, he’d been regretting everything, everything he said to her, and the way he left her… and now, 3 days back, how he just walked away from her even when he had the chance.

He knew he had a chance.

And that’s what was breaking him even more.

She was still giving him a chance, even after all he had done to her, and everything she had been through.

He ordered himself some food with beer and started drinking.

One bottle down.
Two bottles down.
Three bottles down.
Four bottles down.

While the concerned manager was observing Kook, he finally stopped him from drinking more.

Manager: “Hey, Jungkook, can you go home on your own or want me to call someone?”
He asked when the younger was paying the bill.

Kook: “No, uncle. I can go.”
He said with a smile.

Manager: “You sure?”
He asked. He knew Kook hadn’t drunk that much even in the past years, but he also knew he had a good tolerance for alcohol.

Kook: “Yesh, take care, uncle.”
He said and stepped out, not giving the manager a chance to speak more.

Kook walked toward the car he came in but decided not to drive because he was drunk.

He sat near the parking lot. He knew he was wasted.

Unknowingly, he dialled Yoongi.

Because he really wanted to talk to someone about this.

And he knew the elder wouldn’t judge him. Yoongi knew a few parts of his past.

On the other side:

Jimin and Yoongi had just returned to their hotel room after going out. Yoongi went to shower while Jimin rolled around on the bed.

She noticed Yoongi’s phone buzzing, Kook was calling.

As he was in the bathroom, he told her to ignore it, though he was wondering what made the younger call him, he rarely did.

But Kook kept calling. More than 3 times.

Jimin got frustrated and a bit worried; what made him call this many times?

Yoongi finally told her to answer and ask what was going on.

On the call:

Kook: “H-Hyung.”

Jimin: “What happened, Jungkook? It’s Jimin.”

But Kook, drunk, didn’t recognize her voice.

And he started speaking.

Kook: “Hyung… I’m done being away from her.”
He said with a broken sob.

Jimin: “What?”
She asked, confused, though realizing quickly that he was drunk.

Kook: “My Tae, hyung… I don’t want to be far from her anymore. Not again.”
He said, blinking his eyes, trying not to cry right there in the parking lot.
