Kook's POV:

All are so engrossed in the little chaos, facing the other side.

As I stand here, watching the chaos unfold in front of me, it's hard to focus on anything else but her.

Taehyung. My amour. My heart. My everything.

My heart tightens just at the thought of her name. It's been years, yet the longing never really left.

Seeing her now, laughing, cursing, and chasing after Bogum with that fiery energy, it feels as if time has stood still.

She's still the same, and it pains me to realize how much I still want her how much I will always want her and will always want her.

But I can't let anyone know that.

Not now, not ever.

She's not mine anymore. And that's because of me.

I was the one who pushed her away and forced her into a corner where she had no choice but to listen to me.

I was selfish in my way, thinking I was protecting her by letting go.

I couldn't have her dragging me down, and I couldn't let her hold me back either.

I see her now - so full of life and so strong and yet I know she still doesn't understand why I left.

And that, in a way, kills me. I was supposed to protect her, but I just hurt her.

Bogum.
Damn him. I can see it in his eyes the way he looks at Tae.

The way he's always been there for her, even when I couldn't be.

I couldn't stand the thought of her turning to him if I wasn't around.

It wasn't just about us there was a part of me that couldn't bear the idea of losing her to someone else.

And then there's another guy. I guess his name is Josh.

I saw them together, and maybe it was a date, but I couldn't even bring myself to speak to her properly.

What was I supposed to say?
"Oh, I'm glad you're having a nice time while I'm over here dying inside?"
No, I couldn't do that.
So, I kept my distance.
But that didn't mean I didn't care.

It takes everything I have to push down the urge to pull her close, to make her realize that I'm still here, still wanting her. But I can't.

I can't be that guy who shows up and pretends like nothing ever happened.

The truth is, we're not the same people we were when we were together. I'm not the same.

And I'm not sure if I can be the one to fix what's broken between us.

But every time we met, the way she approached me, tried to speak something to clarify the misunderstanding, and looked into my eyes, there was a flicker of something in her eyes that made me wonder if she still felt it, too.

Would she ever forgive me?
Would she ever look at me the way she used to? 

It's probably a foolish thought, but I can't help it.

I want her back.

But I know deep down, I don't deserve her. Not after everything I did.

And so, I stay back, hidden in the shadows of my regrets, watching the woman I love move on without me.

Everything seemed to fade when she turned towards me looking at someone.

Her eyes widened. Maybe she didn't know I was a friend of Yoongi Hyung, just as I didn't know she was his friend.

The long forgotten and she was staring at me.

Tae's POV:

No, No, No. This can't be happening am I hallucinating things right now?

How can Koo be here? Why is he even here?

Minnie won't call him even if she did, she would have informed me about it. 

Before I could say something someone interrupted me.

Namjoon: "Hello, Ms. Kim. and Ms. Park. Nice meeting you here. And this is my wife Kim Seokjin."
He said showing his dimple smile.

Tae and Jimin: "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Kim."
She says with a little bow.

Jin: "Hello, Taehyung and Jimin. Joonie speaks a lot about you, dear"
She says with a smile making Tae smile back at her.

Tae roamed her eyes towards Kook, who was looking back at her with black eyes, making her feel nervous and a new emotion where she was not able to read the eyes and making her feel like she had lost something precious.

Namjoon: "Please don't call me Mr Kim. You can me Hyung if you want to. We are becoming family friends, after all. Right baby."
He says looking at Jin in the last sentence.

Jin: "You are right."
She says.

Jimin: "How about we go to the living room and introduce ourselves."
She suggested when the atmosphere became a bit awkward.

In the Living room:

Yoongi: "So... This is Jung Hoseok. and this is Jeon Jungkook."
Yoongi says signalling towards them.

Jennie: "Hi Kook and Hi Hoseok."
She says with a smile.

And they continued to greet each other.

Jimin was sitting beside Yoongi. She poked him and asked why she called Kook, forgetting they never mentioned Kook to Yoongi, and he did not know that Taekook knew each other and broke up.

Because Vmin never addressed Kook as Tae's ex and Yoongi never said he knew Kook.

Tae was looking anywhere but towards Kook, but the boy was stealing glances at Tae now and then. 

And Yeah, Namjin can sense the awkwardness cause knew about Tae because he spoke to them about Tae and also showed her picture when they forced him to go on dates.

Coming to Josh and Bogum they were sitting side by side. 

The seating is like-

Yoongi - Jimin - Tae - Bogum - Josh.

and opposite to them are-

Lisa - Jennie - Jin - Namjoon - Kook.

Lisjen and Jin were speaking to each other and Namjoon, Bogum and Josh were discussing business.

Bogum: "So does Yoongi Hyung know Kook?"
He asked sensing the question in the soulmate's brain. Making their ears perk.

Yoongi: "Well, you remember that I had an accident when I went out of the city once. Before getting into a relationship with my mochi."
He says looking at Jimin and pecking on her lips, making her smile a bit.

Yoongi: "Then he and Jin are the ones who took me to the hospital when I was on the road.
And also, Mom and Dad felt him as their son, and that continued, and he is here now.
And also he got a special invitation from them too.
And about Namjoon, he is Jin's husband and one time she introduced him to me. Before that accident took place, we had a deal, and from that day on, we became friends.
And coming to this Hoseok, this brat is a friend of Namjoon, so..."
Shaking his head.

He felt like he gave more than enough energy for this topic.

Jimin: "Thank you."
She said looking in Kook's direction, who just nodded his head.

And then thanked Jin for taking care of her soon-to-be husband when she was not there.

Yoongi, sensing the time of his soon-to-be wife, looked at her.

She went near his ear and whispered he was the Tae Bear's ex-boyfriend.
