''Will you tell me where we're going?'' Asher laughed as he twirled me around like a ballerina. ''It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now, would it?''
''I hate surprises...''
''Just bear with me, you'll love this surprise.'' Asher gave a little smirk from the corner
of his lips and took my hand. We walked through the quiet streets, the stars shining bright upon the night sky. We walked down to the beach when he all of a sudden stopped and covered my eyes with his hands, ''Do you trust me?'' he whispered in my ear, sending a chill down my spine. ''Maybe...'' My legs felt wobbly as I was
walking blindly, not knowing where I was heading. Maybe he'd grown sick of me and
would murder me, or maybe he'd surprise me with the turtle release that rarely happens. ''You can see now.'' I opened my eyes to a picknick, there was lighted candles around the blanket, strawberries and champagne. Infront of the ocean was a white bed cover, and as I took a seat a movie started. ''You did all of this?''''I did, do you like it?'' of course I did, I'm amazed in how he managed to do all of this without me finding out. I happen to be an expert at snooping around. And Asher is the worst at keeping secrets. ''I love it, but what movie is this?''
''Quiet, it's starting.'' the movie was animated, and up came a man with a white lab coat, piercing green eyes and hair white as snow. "The man stopped as he could not believe what he was seeing, or rather who he was seeing. His eyes lit up; the girl was no ordinary girl. Her hair was wild as a burning fire, her skin pale as it had never seen the sun. Freckles across her face, and eyes as black as though they were hiding
something. The man watched her from afar, thinking that he must be dreaming. He spent many days after, wondering where she might have wondered off to. Until he saw her once more. She was dressed in a black turtleneck, with her flaming red hair up high. She was holding a cigarette in between her lips, and he wished he was the was that cigarette kissing her pink lips."The movie is about us. My heart melted and I watched as the man loved this girl from afar. How he spent days and months trying to get close to her. The animation was sloppy but who am I to be bothered? This lovely man had done all of this for me.
"The man finally got the girl, but she was missing something. Sir?"
Both the girl and the boy looked at us with raised brows, waiting for something and I was so invested in the movie that I almost didn't see Asher standing on his knee. ''Dawn Summers, I
have little to nothing I can give to you. But I give you every part of me, you've made me the happies I have ever been and-''Get to the point already!'' shouted the voice from the movie.
''Anyway. I've loved you since the day I saw you, and everyday ever more. So, here I stand on my knee asking you to be my wife. Until we are no more.'' My tears poured from my eyes as I threw myself at him shouting, yes! a hundred times over. He placed the ring on my finger, and it was perfect, he Is perfect. You may now kiss the bride to be! Shouted the voice to us, and I did indeed kiss him. My fiancé, my husband to be.
Soon I'll be Mrs. Grey. Through and through.Asher wrapped his arms around me and
kissed me deeply, behind us fireworks flew as people started to shout and applause. And there they were, Sam, Charles, mom and Felix. We spent the night celebrating at the beach, popping champagne.
