My head was spinning, and there was this loud noise all around me. My eyes hurting from this bright light, I remember singing in the car with Dawn before. Wait, Dawn!

Panic, blood running cold in my veins. I tried to sit up, but the room was spinning. But I have to reach Dawn, I have to find her. I stood up and fought for the love of God to move my legs. ''Sir, you need to lie down. You've been badly hurt.''

''My wife! I need to find my wife!''
''Sir, calm down. You have a great head-''

''Dawn!'' More panic, we-we crashed. I tried to push myself up again, ''Nurse! Sedate him, right now!''
''Where's my wife?! Tell me where my wife is!'' I was fighting with all I had, fighting through the pain shooting down my spine. But the more I fought, the more the nurses and doctors pushed me down harder. My eyes grew heavy, my head
spinning and before I could tell. Time stopped.

''Ah, you're awake. How are you feeling Mr. Grey?''

My eyes pounding at the bright light, I feel like I've been run over and having the biggest hang over in my life. Lightning struck me ''My wife'' I uttered, scared of what words would come from the doctor. Praying that she is alright.

''Mr. Grey, I am sorry to inform you that she didn't make it.'' My world crashed down;

this can't be real. This is not real, it's a nightmare. It has to be.
''No, no no no. She, she can't be...'' my voice breaking, my eyes watering. ''I'm so sorry, we did all we could. But her injuries were too severe.'' Panic striking me like lightning, this is not
real. This cannot be real. My body freezes, my blood running cold. My lungs have shut down, and I can't move, I can't- I can't think.
''Would you like to say your goodbyes?'' The doctor whispers. I can't say a word, I just nod my head in disbelief.

''Take all the time you need.'' the doctor said as the door closed behind me. There she was, laying there. Her red hair curled around her pale face, dried blood across her face. Those pink lips full off life, now dull and grey.

Reality struck, and the world had done it. It had fully managed to break me.
