The next day Isabella and Kelsey checked out of their hotel room, and Kelsey had one more surprise for Isabella. She rented a car for the day since their flight wasn't until eight in the evening. "So where are we going?" Isabella asked.

"That will ruin the surprise." Kelsey said. Kelsey put in the destination in her maps and muted it. She then put her phone on the mount and turned it more towards herself so Isabella couldn't see. Isabella talked to Kelsey the entire way, and when Isabella saw where they were her jaw dropped.

"We're going to the beach?!" Isabella asked excitedly.

"Not just any beach." Kelsey said.

"We're at Hermosa beach?!" Isabella asked. Kelsey nodded her head. "I love you so much! Wait, I don't have a swimsuit or anything." Isabella said.

"Don't worry. I packed you one along with sunscreen, sunglasses, and towels." Kelsey said. Isabella smiled, and Kelsey found a parking spot near the beach. Kelsey got out the bag that had everything they needed, and they headed to the nearest bathroom to change. Kelsey put on her lavender bikini with a coverup, and Isabella put on the red bikini that Kelsey packed her. They walked out to the beach, Kelsey not being able to keep her eyes off of Isabella. Isabella pulled out the sunscreen and sprayed it on. She then sprayed it on Kelsey.

"What should we do first?" Isabella asked.

"Well we could go in the water, or we could join in one of the many volleyball "games" going on here." Kelsey suggested.

"I'm terrified of the water, but I'm down for some volleyball." Isabella said. Kelsey smiled, and they walked over to the closest group to see if they could play.

"Mind if we join you guys?" Kelsey asked.

"Of course! Hey, Kasey, they wanna play!" the lady shouted to her friend that was currently playing. A lady who they assumed was Kasey looked over and ran over to them.

"Hey! I'm Kasey. One of you can join my team, and the other can join the other team." Kasey said. Kelsey joined Kasey's team, so Isabella went to the opposite team. The two teams huddled up, and Kelsey and Isabella introduced themselves.

"I'm Isabella. My girlfriend over there doesn't know this, but I was a setter before becoming a libero in high school." Isabella said. Each player introduced themselves and then came up with a game plan to beat the other team since they are 10 points behind them. Kelsey was up to serve, and Isabella could tell where she was going to serve it to by where she was eyeing. Kelsey threw the ball in the air and served it. It was going to where there was a hole, so Isabella ran and dove. She was able to bump it to another player who then set it. Olivia jumped and spiked it. A player was able to get a dig. The ball was set, and Kelsey jumped and spiked it right to Janelle. Janelle bumped it, and Isabella set it to Haley. Haley faked a spike and tipped it over the net. Kelsey was able to get it in time, it was set and spiked. Isabella bumped it to Janelle who then set it to Tammy. Tammy spiked it, and they ended up getting the point. They celebrated and had Isabella serve. She hadn't served since she was a setter, so it'd been a while for her. She took a deep breath before she threw the ball into the air and did a jump serve. It went right to Kelsey who bumped it to Kasey. Instead of setting it, Kasey bumped it over. Olivia bumped it to Isabella who set it to Tyla. Tyla spiked it, and they got the point. The match went on until Isabella's team won the match.

After playing volleyball for two hours, Isabella and Kelsey decided to relax and tan for a little. "Hey guys! I saw you two playing volleyball. You're really good! I'm assuming you used to play?" Isabella and Kelsey heard. Isabella looked and saw AJ Cook standing there. Isabella started fangirling, but this time she was able to hide it.

"Hey! Both of us did back in high school. That's actually something Kelsey didn't know about me until today." Isabella answered.

"Yeah. But it was a nice surprise. Now I know how competitive she can get." Kelsey said.

"Just wait until you go to a softball game. I'm even more competitive." Isabella said, looking at Kelsey.

"Interesting! So, Kelsey, if you played both basketball and volleyball, what made you choose basketball over volleyball?" AJ asked.

"I liked basketball a little bit more. I come from a family who plays volleyball, and so I played because I felt like I had to follow in their footsteps. I was actually better at volleyball than I was basketball. But I started focusing on basketball more, and now I'm playing it professionally." Kelsey explained.

"Well you definitely still got it in volleyball. I saw that you're going to be in the Unrivaled league. That's a new league, right?" AJ asked.

"It is! It's a league started by Breanna Stewart and Nepheesa Collier for players to play in in the off season so they wouldn't have to go overseas if they don't want to. It's pretty exciting." Kelsey said. She smiled, but Isabella could tell it was a fake smile.

"That's exciting! Well, I will leave you two alone now. It was nice seeing you guys!" AJ said.

"You too!" Isabella and Kelsey said. They waved 'goodbye' to AJ.

"Can I ask you something?" Isabella asked.

"Of course." Kelsey said.

"I noticed the fake smile when you talked about Unrivaled. You were so happy when they asked you to be part of it. What changed?" Isabella asked.

"I don't know if I want to be part of it anymore. It will be an amazing opportunity for me, but the more I think about going to Miami and being away from home, the more I feel homesick. I don't know. I just don't know if I'm ready." Kelsey said.

"You've been away before. What's changed?" Isabella asked.

"You. And I think I want to work on myself and keep practicing before I jump into something like that." Kelsey said.

"Okay. Well, whatever you decide, I will support you no matter what. But know that you don't have to make this decision with me as a factor. Make this decision for you. If you decide to do it, then I will fly to Miami as much as I can." Isabella said. They tanned for an hour before they walked around and took pictures. At around six they decided to change and head to the airport. While waiting, Isabella posted to Instagram her favorite 20 pictures from the trip. She included the picture she got with AJ, ones she took while in Beverly Hills, the game, and at the beach.

There's something about the sunshine, baby🌞😍 (ps. I can't believe my seat was next to my favorite actress!!!!) #solucky

Isabella posted the pictures after tagging Kelsey and AJ. As the comments and likes rolled in, Lexie Hull was the first to get the song reference.

I forgot about Starstruck!! Used to be one of my favorite Disney movies. But looks like you and Kelsey had lots of fun!!

Isabella was about to reply until she she saw the notification that AJ liked her post and followed her. Her jaw dropped. AJ was rarely on Instagram, so she had to make sure it was actually her. It was, so she went to profile to make sure she actually followed her and it wasn't a glitch or something. AJ was, indeed, following her along with Kelsey, all of the WNBA team accounts, and the WNBA account.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Kelsey asked Isabella.

"Nothing. Look!" Isabella said with excitement and a smile. "I feel like I'm dreaming right now." Isabella said.

"That's exciting! And I can see why it feels like that." Kelsey said. Soon after, their flight was called, so they boarded the plane. After what seemed like a long plane ride, they were finally back in Vegas. Isabella was excited to get back to her cats. Kyra updated Isabella every few hours letting her know how they were doing and even sent her pictures of them. Kelsey drove to Isabella's townhouse and dropped her off before going back to her house. When Isabella walked in, she was greeted by all three of her cats. She picked them up one-by-one and gave them each a big hug and kiss on the head. She wanted nothing more than to go to sleep, so that's exactly what she did.
