Chapter 38

The next day Isabella and Kelsey hung out for a little bit before they went to Cameron's to record the podcast. Before they started, Isabella recorded a TikTok. She created a sound to All You by The Cataracs. She walked up behind Kelsey as she was saying the words "I don't mean to come off as sexual, oh, oh". The next part she slapped Kelsey's ass as she said, "but that ass is epic though". Isabella looked back at Kelsey with a smile as she walked away, and Kelsey looked at her with a shocked look before she smiled. Isabella started laughing and lightly jogging away as Kelsey chased her. She stopped recording just before Kelsey got to her.

"Yours is too." Kelsey said. Isabella chuckled and posted the video with a simple caption of,

Missed her🥺❤️

It was time to follow Cam to where they were recording. They sat down in their chairs, and Cameron started recording and filming.

"Hey guys, it's Cam Brink with my wonderful co-host."

"I'm Sydel Curry-Lee, and we are here with two special people today."

"We have my super awesome teammate who's a two time WNBA champion, four time WNBA all star, two time Olympic gold medalist, WNBA MVP, WNBA sixth player of the year. The list just goes on and on, but we have my Plum Dawg, Kelsey Plum." Cam said.

"And along side of her we have a first time Olympic gold medalist who made history as being the first female from USA to win gold and the first from USA in two decades to win gold in equestrian who is also a badass police officer. We have Kelsey's other half Isabella De La Garza." Sydel said.

"Thank you for having us!" Isabella said.

"So if you guys don't mind sharing how you, would be able to tell us? I've only heard a very brief story as to how from Cam." Sydel said.

"Of course! So Kelsey and I met at the Olympics right before the opening ceremony. I was actually looking for a place to stand on the ferry, but before I found a spot, I ran into someone who just so happened to be Kelsey."

"She literally knocked me off my feet." Kelsey said with a smile while looking at Isabella.

"I did. When I realized who I knocked down, in my head I started fangirling but then was like 'oh shit I just knocked down one of my favorite players of all time'. I was embarrassed, and so I started apologizing immediately." Isabella said.

"Was it love at first sight?" Cam asked.

"Absolutely. I took one look into her gorgeous brown eyes and immediately fell in love." Kelsey said.

"I already had the biggest crush on Kelsey, so I would say yes." Isabella said.

"So how long did it take for you two to become official?" Sydel asked.

"I believe it was about a week." Kelsey answered.

"Yeah somewhere along the lines of that. It's crazy to think our one year anniversary is coming up, and that we will be getting married soon." Isabella said.

"It really is crazy. So much has happened within the almost year we've been together." Kelsey said.

"Speaking of being engaged, Kelsey how did you ask Isabella? Was it spur of the moment or planned?" Cam asked.

"It was planned. When I realized that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, I found the perfect ring. I asked her sister for her blessing. We were already planning a trip to Paris, so I figured I would recreate the date that I asked her to be my girlfriend. I won't go into detail on that as I feel it shiuld be kept a personal detail, but yeah that's how I planned it." Kelsey said.
