Alana arrived around seven in the morning, and she immediately took an Uber to the hospital Isabella was at. Kelsey was already there in the waiting room. She looked like she didn't get any sleep and that she was crying most of the night. "Any updates?" Alana asked, sitting next to Kelsey.
"She was having internal bleeding, so I had to give them the 'okay' to do surgery since it was very risky." Kelsey said.
"If you have to make anymore decisions, a piece of advice I learned from Isobel Castille is to always trust your gut. Your instincts are usually right, so don't feel like you have to do what you think the doctors want you to do. Do what your instincts are telling you." Alana said.
"What if I make the wrong decision? I don't think I'll be able to live with myself if she dies." Kelsey said, tearing up again.
"It's going to be hard knowing what the right decision is since there's risks with each. But listen to your instincts. Isabella is a fighter, and she's not going to give up. She's going to give it her all and push through." Alana said. Kelsey handed Alana her phone and asked her to message the group chat at the top and let them know she's in surgery. Kelsey just didn't have the energy to do so.
Hey, it's Alana, Isabella's sister. Isabella went back to surgery again. She had some internal bleeding, so they are hopefully going to get that fixed. I'm not sure how long she's been in surgery. I just got here. But I will update when she's out.

How's Kelsey holding up?
I don't think she's slept. Or she at least got very little sleep. But seeing her eyes, I can tell she's been crying most of the night. It's not helping that she has to make all of the medical decisions.

Going through the toughest time while also having to make the toughest decisions of her life, I can't even imagine what she's going through.
They send a few more messages before Alana hands back Kelsey's phone. Well, set it beside Kelsey. Kelsey fell asleep on Alana's shoulder. An hour and a half goes by, and still nothing. Kelsey was still sleeping, and Alana needed to get up and see if anyone knew anything. Luckily the seats they were sitting in didn't have any dividers. So, Alana carefully got up and gently laid Kelsey down. There was enough room for her feet to be up, so she put her legs up on the chair as well. Then she went over to a couch that had a pillow and grabbed the pillow. She walked back over to Kelsey and carefully lifted her head and placed the pillow under. She slid her hand out from under Kelsey's head and turned around. She saw two people standing there who look like Kelsey, which she assumed were her parents. "Hey, um, I'm assuming you're Kelsey's parents?" Alana asked.
"We are. You're Isabella's sister, right?" Kelsey's mom asked.
"I am." Alana said.
"Is there any updates yet?" Kelsey's father asked.
"Not yet. I have no idea how long she's been in surgery for. I guess Kelsey had to make the decision for them to take her back. So since Kelsey fell asleep about an hour and a half ago, I decided to get some answers." Alana said.
"Can I ask you something?" Kelsey's mom asked.
"Of course." Alana said.
"Are you a mother?" she asked.
