A few weeks had went by, me and Jolece had gotten closer and more open with each other—same with me and Jeremiah, except in a different way.
As time went on, Luca got more and more exasperated with Jolece's involvement in my life. Whether it was at a basketball game, over the phone, or anywhere, Luca just didn't like her around me. Jolece thinks Luca is jealous of us becoming friends so quickly, which I don't necessarily agree with, I think he just cares for my well-being is all. I've also become more comfortable with the revelation that I do in fact have an incomprehensible attraction to him.
"So are you going to the party Jolece is setting up?" Jeremiah asked me as I brushed my teeth.
I spit the toothpaste in my mouth into the sink and looked at him standing behind me through the mirror, "Of course, I was the first person she invited, why wouldn't I go?"
He threw his hands up as if he offended me, "My bad," He laughed
"I wonder if Luca would go," I thought aloud, already cognizant of the answer.
"He'd rather pry his own eyes out and juggle them like a clown," He added.
"true, but this is my first party, and i'd really appreciate for him to be there. Jolece is really popular, she's going to have more people there wanting to talk to her than just me. It Luca's there, then it'd lessen my worries," I told him.
"This is your first party? You've never had a birthday party or anything?" He crossed his arms and leaned on the wall, still looking at me through the mirror.
"You need friends to have a birthday party, that's a delicacy I was never granted," I responded.
"Oh, well, I'll be there, so if Luca doesn't go, i'll always be with you," He attempted to alleviate my small fears.
"You'll be with Chief, and I don't want to hear about an orange ball for hours." I said.
He chuckled and just stared at me through the mirror. I finished brushing my teeth and returned the eye contact.
this man is so sexy, my god.
He wore a white tank top that clung to his torso, effortlessly showcasing its sublime contours. His big arms perfectly complimenting the rest of his upper body.
You'd think he's a football player with the way he's built, but i guess his height is beneficial with the applied sport.
He wore grey sweatpants that I refrained myself from looking at. One, if I did, he'd probably noticed considering he's looking into my eyes right now. Two, if I see someone I like, I might cause a world of embarrassment for myself.
