"I'm honestly shocked you came out of your little safe house to come to a basketball game where your arch nemesis will be," Luca showed his surprise.

"yeah, i had to get out of that bathroom before i lost every single droplet of sanity i had left. plus, im not going to let that bitch bother me." I sounded maturely.

"Shocker, especially since you're not the biggest latitudinarian, proud of you honestly." Luca complimented.

"Have you talked to Jeremiah at all?" He added.

I side eyed him and didn't say anything, that enough being a response.

"What did he say?" He wondered deeply.

"he's slow as fuck, just know that." I rolled my eyes at the thought of that little interaction me and him shared.

Shortly after, the cheerleaders walked in the big room. Spiriting their way down the line.

Jolece and her big pseudo-smile leading the pack.

With every step she took, a new thought in my head appeared, all falling under the category to take her clean out.

The cheerleaders did a call out, followed up by a painfully long routine in sync.

I watched them closely, every step they took, and every move they made. Nothing necessarily caught my eye until they threw themselves up into different stunts.

This is the part i've been anticipating, at the beginning and end of every game, all the cheerleaders to an impressive stunt. Jolece being the center, obviously.

Her placement is to be held high in the air by only one other person, what makes this figure so dangerous is that she also has to hold one let up, which also means her balance has to be perfect.

because if not, she'll fall and hit her head. and who wants that?

"Angelo!" Luca broke my train of thought.

"hm?" I raised my eyebrows and looked at him.

"why do you look so focused on them? it's like you have an intent or something," He joked ironically.

"What? That's crazy, i have no intent. I'm just...." I trailed off to think of a lie, "Reminiscing on how fucked up she had me. I choose peace though, i'm going to let it go eventually." I spoke convincingly.

"Nigga, please." He scoffed, "I don't know if you've noticed, but you're genuinely crazy. As in, coo-coo. Typically, you're type of people never leave the shit that she pulled fly like that." He crossed his arms.
