"Angelo I full heartedly do not believe a single solitary word leaving your mouth right now." Luca stared at me in disbelief, "you mean to tell me: Jeremiah pushed you up against a desk, asked if you had feelings for him, you said yes, then he kissed you?" He ran through my story.

"yes." I said in my own shock, "it was probably a dream, or not, i really don't know."

Luca's jaw was reaching the floor, he genuinely didn't know whether to believe me or not.

"Luca, we actually kissed, and i liked it." I admitted.

"Wait—hold a second, what happened after?" He sat up from his laying position on the bed, giving me his full and undivided attention.

"we stared at each other for a moment, it was like we were taking a mental note of how attractive the both of us truly looked to each other—especially together. Then of course, I made it awkward." I cringed at the memory, "I told him i had to help you with something and bolted before either of us could say anything else. The entire walk home, i was anxiously happy. I can't explain it," I described.

Luca chuckled, "he gave you that jittering feeling, didn't he?" I nodded at his question, "yea,"

"I call it 'Infatuated Butterflies', it's basically when someone makes you feel so strange and overwhelmed, but in a good and exciting way." He explained my symptoms.

I blushed for a moment, the omnipresent sensation of his kiss kept harassing my lips.

"God!" I threw myself back into the bed, "I need him." I exclaimed.

"Awe, you're missing him already?" Luca slapped me playfully.

"No! i just have the desire to see him again, that's all." I placated, "plus, we never even said we were together. it was just a kiss, and that's all it is—for now, at least." I told him.

"sure, if that's what helps you sleep at night." He laid back down.

"Sigh," I verbalized dramatically, "is it too soon to call him my man?"

"You confuse me; so he's your man, but that kiss meant nothing? help me out here," He complained.

"he's my man, who's not my man, but he is my man, but he's not." I simplified.

"that makes it no better," He rolled his eyes—just then, my phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw a notification from Jeremiah, "Jeremiah texted me!" I yelled excitedly.

"Damn, you acting like it's Beyoncé, whole time it's just a text from a nigga who you're not even with," Luca downplayed—causing me to mug him.

"This is better than Bey—"

"don't even finish that sentence, what did Jeremiah text you?" He cut me off before I could say something i would probably regret.

I read the message, "he's asking where i'm at. oh my god he wants me, he desires me as well." I bursted out in delusional exuberance.
