"Jeremiah! What are you doing?! You have to get up!" Luca recklessly crashed through the door. The sudden burst of sound prompted me and Jeremiah to almost jerk awake.
I was burrowed under Jeremiah and a few covers, making it hard for me to see what Luca was doing, "You're going to be late! I have to go force Angelo out his room so we can surprise him, remember?" His voice trailed closer to the bed. From what I could see, Jeremiah was staring at him smugly—as if he was doing something Luca wasn't supposed to know about.
"what? why are you looking at me like that?" Luca's puzzlement pulled a small giggle out of me.
"I-" Luca prepared to speak. Once he heard me giggle he stomped over to the bed and flipped the covers over. Luca's mouth fell open—puzzled, "when the—where—how did—" All his questions pushed through all at once.
I peered up at him with an innocent smile—mentally gearing up for the temper tantrum he was about to experience.
"Why did y'all do this? You both know I was going to plan someone romantic and special out for you two!" He yelled at us like children, "You two are extremely inconsiderate and have no self control whatsoever. Is it that hard to keep it in your pants?" Luca continued to reprimand us.
Luca's upset rant managed to travel all around our room and took up a good twenty minutes. All me and Jeremiah could do was stare because interrupting with a rebuttal is a death wish almost.
"I mean seriously, neither of you could wait a little less than a day before you started ripping the clothes off each other?"
"we didn't have sex, we only slept," I tried to placate him. Despite the little amount of self control I have over myself when it comes to Jeremiah, I likely would've refused sex if he offered it to me last night.
"how does that make anything better?" Luca rambled on, "you two weren't supposed to see each other for another few hours."
Mutually, we both stayed silent and let Luca complain. We both were aware about how useless it was to intervene.
Eventually Luca stopped, making the most 'Luca' exit he could perform, "I can't even look at the two of you," His last words replayed in my head, followed up by an unnecessary door slam.
Me and Jeremiah let the air stay peaceful for a few moments which was probably best considering the incessant shouting.
Jeremiah got up and walked to his side of the room. The stillness wasn't unsettling—thankfully—and it shockingly didn't feel invasive to stare at Jeremiah. Being with Jeremiah right now wasn't exact how i thought it would go. I figured we would talk it out and kiss over a glass of wine or something, but it feels normal.
