With the great end of the school year, me and Jeremiah made a mutual decision to travel back to my home for the summer. I was actually glad that this was happening, Jeremiah has only spoken to my mother on the phone since we've been together, and my mom is exuberant to see him in person again.

For all the other breaks, we simply decided to go to Jeremiah's house which was typically empty due to his wealthy parents always being on vacation. It was actually his idea to spend summer at my house, coming to the conclusion that he needs to at least once—and who was I to say no?

"is that everything?" Jeremiah threw the last bag in the back seat.

"Yup!" I cheesed brightly. He irritatedly blinked at me in response because I made him do all the heavy lifting. After all, I am just a boy.

He slammed the trunk, possibly out of irritation as well, "let's hit the road before i make you walk." he mumbled past me.

I playfully hit his back and ran to the passenger seat. I jumped in and gazed at my boyfriend in the driver seat, "thank you Jer'" I poked him teasingly.

"you'll definitely be thanking me later," he scoffed. I ignored the lewd comment and buckled my seatbelt.

"i'm gonna miss college," I reminisced while looking out the window. The farther we drove from the campus, the more and more I dwelled on the memories. It's crazy to think that in a very short school year, a lot has happened.

I've met some amazing people, had to kill one of them, got my first boyfriend, got my first best friend, broke up with the boyfriend and almost fell in love with someone else, fell into a dejection, got my boyfriend back, threatened my best friends boyfriend......

and it's my first year at college.

I can't lie, it was an amazing experience. I was glad I found it in me to open up to people and make an attempt with myself outside of academics. If I hadn't, I probably would've never been with Jeremiah. I would say i wouldn't be friends with Luca, but he approached me first so I doubt that.

"What's on your mind?" My boyfriend tapped the spot on my thigh where his hand was.

"Everything!" I said excitedly, "Going home to finally see my mom, ending my first college year, and doing it all with you." I gave him a genuine teethy smile.

He quickly turned his head to his side window, obviously hiding his blush. He dropped his head in embarrassment, trying to regain his composure. It was cute seeing him blush at the smallest things, it was giggle worthy kinda.

I ended up falling asleep for the short hour of time it took to get there. The drive to my house was pretty short, granted, i never wanted to move that far from home. To be quite frank, I didn't expect myself to survive in this environment and I was ready at any time to return home if I had to.
