The stage lights blared down, casting an unflattering glow on Hyunjin's face. He stood there, looking like a statue of indifference, while beside him, Felix was a whirlwind of forced enthusiasm. The audience roared their applause, a deafening sound that grated on Hyunjin's nerves.

"And here they are, the golden couple of the entertainment industry: Hyunjin and Felix!" the host announced, their voice dripping with sweetness that made Hyunjin want to roll his eyes.

Felix, ever the performer, flashed a dazzling smile. "Isn't he just divine?" he cooed, his tone saccharine.

Hyunjin couldn't help but roll his eyes slightly. "Endearing," he replied, his sarcasm barely hidden.

The crowd laughed, completely unaware of the tension beneath their playful banter. More like a verbal duel than a charming exchange.

"So, how did these two lovebirds meet?" the host asked, feigning curiosity.

Felix sighed dramatically. "It was a whirlwind romance—a chance encounter at a business meeting."

Hyunjin raised an eyebrow. "Definitely surprising," he added, lightly brushing his hand against Felix's, pretending to play along.

The audience chuckled, blissfully unaware of the truth.

"And what drew you to each other?" the host persisted.

Felix, ever the optimist, lit up. "Hyunjin's intelligence and passion for his work."

Hyunjin followed suit with an exaggerated sweet expression. "Felix's soft looks and how his face lights up over simple things."

The crowd was eating it up.

As the interview continued, the questions grew more personal, diving into the depths of their supposed "love story." Felix painted a picture of a fairytale romance, while Hyunjin tried to suppress the urge to punch the reporters for their relentless questioning.

"What's your favorite thing about Hyunjin?" the host asked, turning to Felix.

Felix paused for effect. "His ability to make the worst tasks seem easy."

Hyunjin smirked. "And what about Felix?"

Felix grinned. "His ability to make anyone happy."

They exchanged a glance, silently agreeing to keep the act going.

"So, what does the future hold for this dynamic duo?" the host asked, full of hopeful anticipation.

Hyunjin and Felix shared a knowing look, their eyes filled with shared sarcasm.

"A divorce lawyer," Hyunjin said flatly.

Felix nodded. "And a really good therapist."

Oh, how sweet love stories turned into a Tom and Jerry episode.

"We're joking, of course," Felix said, softening his tone as he smiled at Hyunjin. "I hope everything we do always has each other in it."

As they stepped off stage, Hyunjin turned to Felix with feigned seriousness. "That was a stellar performance."

Felix beamed, bouncing on his heels. "You're welcome! I'm thinking of an Oscar."

Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "In the category of 'Most Convincing Fake Relationship'?"

Felix shrugged. "Why not? We could win."

Hyunjin smirked, shaking his head as they entered backstage, the audience's cheers fading into the background. "I can see the headlines now: 'Golden Couple Wins Oscar for Best Performance in a Loveless Charade.'"

Felix chuckled, adjusting his hair in front of a mirror. "Hey, it's not my fault if the world is too blind to see the truth. They love a good story, even if it's complete fiction."

"Or a tragicomedy," Hyunjin muttered, crossing his arms as he leaned against the wall. "We should start charging for therapy sessions at this point. We've already given them enough material."

Felix's eyes sparkled with mischief. "You know, I think we could make a killing. 'Come witness the unraveling of a faux romance! Live therapy sessions! Bring your popcorn!'"

"Right, because nothing screams entertainment like watching two people slowly lose their minds," Hyunjin replied, rolling his eyes again. Sarcasm dripped from his voice, but amusement flickered in his eyes.

Felix stepped closer, lowering his voice. "But think about it! We could charge extra for the juicy details. 'Exclusive insights into the life of Hyunjin: the man who hates fun!'"

"How about 'Felix: the human embodiment of chaos'?" Hyunjin shot back, a reluctant smile forming.

Felix gasped, clutching his chest in mock offense. "I am a delightful storm! A refreshing breeze in your otherwise dull existence!"

"Dull? I'm the one next to a walking advertisement for caffeine," Hyunjin quipped, the corners of his mouth betraying him. "You're like a hyper puppy that never runs out of energy."

Felix grinned, undeterred. "And you're the grumpy cat, just waiting for the world to end so you can take a nap."

"Touché," Hyunjin conceded, the tension between them easing slightly. "But let's be real. If we ever wrote a book, it would be a bestseller, purely out of curiosity."

"Or a cautionary tale," Felix added, eyes sparkling with mischief. "'How to Survive a Relationship Built on Sarcasm and Cynicism.' We could include a chapter on dodging awkward questions from hosts."

Hyunjin chuckled, surprised by his own reaction. "And a glossary of snarky comebacks. We could make millions."

As they bantered back and forth, the weight of their earlier performance lifted, and it felt like they were dancing on the edge of a strange friendship—one forged in shared absurdity and annoyance.

Felix paused, his expression turning serious for a moment. "You know, even if this is all an act, I'm glad to have you in my corner."

Hyunjin raised an eyebrow, caught off guard by the sincerity. "Don't get sentimental on me. You'll ruin my reputation as the ice king."

Felix laughed, his joy infectious. "Too late! You're stuck with me, your human tornado, whether you like it or not."

"Great," Hyunjin replied dryly, though a smile crept onto his face. "Just what I always wanted."

As they prepared to leave the backstage area, Felix clapped his hands together, suddenly excited. "So, what's next? More interviews? A reality show? A tour of the best coffee shops in town?"

Hyunjin sighed dramatically, a smile slipping through. "Let's just start with a good cup of coffee and call it a day. Then we can discuss our impending mental breakdowns."

Felix beamed, his excitement contagious. "Coffee it is! And then, who knows? Maybe we'll come up with the next big thing in entertainment: a reality show about two guys pretending to be in love while secretly plotting each other's downfall."

"Now that," Hyunjin said, shaking his head with a grin, "sounds like a plan."

"And we thought we'd be sweet to each other," Felix sighed dramatically.

"I was blind then."

"And what about now?"

"Shut it."

"la la la."

"Human caffeine."

"Okay, and?"
