Felix's POV
The day started with the usual chaos at the company, where I finalized the creation of new teams. Assigning specialized groups for marketing, designing, and project management felt like a weight lifting off my shoulders. Finally, everything was in place.
Hyunjin called in the middle of my meeting. His timing, as always, was impeccable.
"What should I wear tonight?" he asked casually as if I wasn't in the middle of trying to explain a creative pitch to my team.
"Excuse me?" I said, putting him on speaker.
"The boat party. What am I supposed to wear to something like this?"
Suppressing a sigh, I leaned back in my chair, glancing at the clock. "Hyunjin, you're an actor. You've walked the most exclusive red carpets. Are you seriously asking me this?"
"I don't know," he said, sounding genuinely distressed. "I don't want to overdo it, but I don't want to look like I'm not trying either."
I couldn't help but laugh. "Lucky for us, I've already got it covered. I designed two suits, one for you, and one for me. Neither of them have been showcased yet. I'll ask my assistant to send you yours."
"You designed them?"
"Of course I did. I thought it'd be for a special runway but they don't fit any of the themes," I replied, trying to keep the warmth out of my voice.
A pause. "Thanks, Felix. see you soon."
and the call ended.
I continued what I was saying but this time I was a bit sad that we wouldn't go together since his company is closer and he needs to make an earlier appearance and I can work for a bit more.

At around three, I sent him a message I arrived and we met by the dock. Hyunjin came looking for me and for a moment, I forgot how to breathe. The emerald suit fit him perfectly, the subtle gold accents adding a regal touch to his already commanding presence.
"You look incredible," I blurted out before I could stop myself.
He smiled, a little shyly. "I could say the same about you."
I adjusted the cuffs of my navy blue suit, feeling a small flush creep up my neck. The silver embroidery caught the light just right, complementing the rich tone of the fabric.
"Shall we?" he said, offering his arm.
The boat party was a vision of elegance. Fairy lights strung along the rails cast a warm glow over the deck. The gentle hum of conversation mingled with the soft lapping of waves against the hull.
We talked with almost everyone, greeting important figures in the industry and sharing polite laughter. I couldn't resist sneaking subtle touches—my hand brushing his as I passed him a drink, a light touch on his back when we navigated through groups of people.
If Hyunjin had noticed, he would've shown it. Or maybe he did, and he just didn't mind.
We made sure we looked like the most perfect couple. surprisingly, I noticed we knew tiny details about each other and even made sure to exclude things the other didn't like.
though, I only noticed this habit when a poet pointed it out.
It wasn't just people in the business industry or the fashion industry that were but there were people from the entertainment industry and others too.
the party was a bit too grand and crowded for me but I could manage.
As the night swept by, Hyunjin leaned in close, his voice just loud enough for me to hear over the gentle music.
