Felix's POV

The past few days had been a whirlwind of activity. I managed to hire 25 employees after days of meticulously studying portfolios, conducting interviews, and setting up contracts. My office finally felt alive, buzzing with energy and the promise of growth.

But none of it came without sacrifices. Late nights spent at my desk with stacks of papers had left me with dark circles under my eyes. The occasional teasing from Hyunjin became a welcome distraction. Every now and then, I'd brush past him intentionally, just to see him stiffen or glance away. Sometimes, when I'd walk by, I'd drape an arm around his shoulder for a quick hug, earning a flustered, "Don't you have work to do?"

Even when he pretended to be annoyed, I could see the corners of his lips twitching, fighting a smile.

Now, we were on our way to an interview; Hyunjin was driving, his suit perfectly pressed, and a quiet sense of excitement radiating off him.

The morning had started with its usual rhythm. I'd woken up earlier than Hyunjin, determined to look my best. I wore a tailored black suit with subtle pinstripes paired with a deep navy tie. I took my time adjusting the tie, ensuring it lay perfectly flat.

When Hyunjin finally emerged, his hair slightly messy from sleep, I couldn't help but smile. His suit was charcoal gray with a classic black tie, sharp as always.

"Looking good," I said, giving him a once-over.

"Flattery won't make me drive faster," he shot back, but the faint blush on his cheeks didn't go unnoticed.

As we finished our coffee and headed out, Hyunjin turned to me. "You've been working hard these past few days."

"Someone has to keep up with you," I teased, slipping into the passenger seat of his sleek black car.

The car ride was surprisingly peaceful. The city skyline blurred past us as soft music played in the background. Hyunjin hummed along, his fingers tapping the steering wheel. I turned to look at him, the sunlight catching on his jawline.

"You seem unusually calm," I said, breaking the silence.

"Why wouldn't I be? It's just an interview."

"You're sure it's not because you're driving with me?"

He glanced at me briefly before focusing back on the road. "Felix, don't start."

I chuckled, leaning back in my seat. These moments felt refreshing.

We arrived at the venue, a tall, modern building with sleek glass windows reflecting the morning light. Hyunjin handed the keys to the valet and turned to me.

"Ready?"

"Always."

As we walked through the lobby, a few heads turned. Whether it was Hyunjin's presence, my tailored suit, or the way we moved together, I wasn't sure. But I felt it—a palpable energy surrounding us.

The receptionist greeted us warmly, leading us to the waiting room where the interviewer would join us shortly.

While we waited, I couldn't help but glance at Hyunjin. His fingers drummed lightly on the armrest of his chair, and his expression was focused but not tense.

"Hyun," I said softly.

He looked over, raising an eyebrow.

"You'll do great," I said, offering him a small smile.

"Thanks," he replied, his voice quieter than usual.

Moments like these were rare, and I savored them.

Hyunjin's pov

Felix had been relentless these past few days. He worked late nights and long hours, and somehow, he still had the energy to tease me at every opportunity. Yet, I couldn't deny that his hard work paid off. His company was finally taking shape, and he carried himself with a quiet confidence that was impossible to ignore.

Now, as we sat waiting for the interview to start, I couldn't help but steal a glance at him. His posture was relaxed, his eyes scanning the room like he already owned it.

"Are you nervous?" he asked, catching me off guard.

"No," I said quickly, though the slight tightening of my tie might have said otherwise.

He chuckled softly, leaning slightly closer. "Relax, Hyun. You'll do fine."

The way he said it, the way his voice dipped just a little. Every touch, and every glance over the past few days had me on edge. And yet, I couldn't seem to get enough of him.

As the door opened and the interviewer walked in, Felix leaned back in his chair, giving me a subtle wink. I swallowed hard, determined to focus on the task at hand.

But even as the questions began, a part of me couldn't stop thinking about the man sitting next to me and the quiet chaos he brought into my life.

the interview asked me a question I wasn't quite prepared for.

"we've seen you with a couple of girlfriends before. your relationship with them was showcased and also very established but suddenly dating Felix out of the blue, no, announcing him as your husband has still gossip following around. anything you would like to say?" he asked, a bit of worry and wary in his tone.

I smiled as I draped my hand around Felix's shoulder and spoke "I agree with you somewhat. though the news is sudden for you, it wasn't for me. I knew I was Bisexual, l just didn't voice it out publicly. Plus I needed to be sure of my feelings and if I truly knew what I was feeling so, I didn't want to even be in a relationship with him before that was ever confirmed. I only announced to the world after everything was sorted. that's all"

the interviewer nodded and said "I agree with you for this. that's all for this interview."

we both nodded and headed out.

"that interviewer was a bit rude.." Lix said, his tone angry and a bit deadly.

"I told him to ask that question since many of our fans were pointing it out" I spoke, letting my arm fall down from his shoulder to his waist.

he stuck closer, and I tried to hide my face by looking in the opposite direction.

after reaching our car, I opened the passenger door and let him sit inside before going to the driver seat and slipping down.

"We have a boat party a few days later. could you come with?" I asked him, starting the car engine and driving to our apartment.

"Sure"
