The Ferris wheel cabin swayed gently as it climbed higher, the hum of the ride blending into the distant city buzz. Felix sat across from Hyunjin, his posture visibly more relaxed than usual. His head leaned against the glass window, his hands resting loosely on his lap.

"You look... relaxed and a bit happy today," Hyunjin said, tilting his head curiously.

Felix blinked, glancing over. "relaxed?"

"Lighter," Hyunjin replied, motioning toward him. "Like you finally took a break or something."

Felix let out a small laugh. "That's because I did. First time in ages. The runway designs are done, and the company's ready to launch... For once, I'm not drowning in deadlines."

Hyunjin raised a brow. "And yet, here you are, riding a Ferris wheel with me instead of catching up on sleep."

Felix rolled his eyes but smiled faintly. "You're not exactly a picture of work-life balance either."

"Fair," Hyunjin admitted, grinning. He stretched his legs out, nudging Felix's foot lightly with his own. "But honestly, I'm glad you're finally catching a break. You were starting to look like you might collapse any second."

Felix chuckled softly, the sound quieter than usual but more genuine. "It's weird. I thought I'd feel restless without work, but right now..." He leaned back, letting his eyes drift to the view outside. "It's nice. Just... being here."

Hyunjin watched him for a moment, his usual teasing smirk replaced with something softer. "You deserve it, Felix."

The cabin creaked gently as they reached the peak. The city stretched out below them, glowing and alive. Felix's gaze shifted, catching Hyunjin's instead of the skyline.

"What about you?" Felix asked suddenly. "When was the last time you took a break?"

Hyunjin blinked, caught off guard. "Me? Uh..." He scratched the back of his neck. "Honestly, I don't remember."

Felix frowned slightly, the expression tugging at Hyunjin's chest. "You need one, too, you know. You can't keep running on empty forever."

Hyunjin shrugged, leaning his head against the glass. "I'll rest when you do."

Felix looked at him in disbelief and sighed.

Hyunjin broke the silence first, again. "You've been acting strange lately."

Felix blinked, caught off guard. "Strange how?"

"You seem... mad at me. But then you smile, and I don't know what to think."

Felix's lips parted as if to respond, but nothing came out. He leaned back, running a hand through his hair. "I'm not mad."

"Then what is it?" Hyunjin pressed gently, his voice low.

Felix hesitated, his heart thudding in his chest. "I don't know. It's just... a lot."

Hyunjin leaned forward again, his elbows resting on his knees as he studied Felix. "You can talk to me, you know. About whatever it is."

Felix let out a small laugh, though it lacked humor. "You say that like it's easy."

"Maybe it should be," Hyunjin said softly, his voice almost a whisper.

Felix looked at him then, really looked at him. The vulnerability in Hyunjin's expression and the weight of everything they weren't saying was almost too much.

The Ferris wheel started its descent, the cabin jolting slightly. Felix tore his gaze away, focusing on the city lights again. "Thanks for coming with me," he said, his voice quieter than before.
