Felix's pov AGAIN

Yuri was laughing again. Her voice rang across the set, effortlessly charming, as Hyunjin stood next to her, his expression soft. I tried to ignore it, and focus on my phone or the empty coffee cup in my hand, but it was impossible. My eyes had a mind of their own, drifting toward them like magnets.

They were preparing for another scene—romantic, obviously. The director was talking animatedly, and I caught snippets of words like tension and intensity. When they nodded in unison, Yuri playfully nudged Hyunjin's arm, and he smiled.

That smile.

My stomach twisted. I hated this. The whole day had been like this—watching them act like the perfect couple while something I couldn't name churned inside me.

Without thinking, I pulled out my phone and hit Yulbi's contact. She picked up on the second ring, her voice breathless.

"Felix? What's up?"

"Hey, are you busy?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.

There was a pause. Then Jihoon's voice came faintly through the line, followed by some shuffling.

"Not really, we just had a pillow fight," Yulbi said, her voice a little higher than usual. "What's wrong?"

I ran a hand through my hair, glancing back at the set where Hyunjin and Yuri were now running lines. "It's... complicated. I just needed to talk to someone."

"Complicated, huh?" Her tone shifted, curious but cautious. "Okay, spill. What's going on?"

I hesitated, the words catching in my throat. How was I supposed to explain this without giving everything away?

"There's this... feeling," I said finally, my voice low. "It's weird. Every time I see—uh, them—together, I feel... off. Like something's wrong, even though it's not."

Yulbi hummed thoughtfully. "And by them, you mean Hyunjin and Yuri?"

I froze. "I didn't say that."

"You didn't have to," she said smugly. "Felix, that's jealousy. Have you seriously never felt that before?"

"Jealousy?" I repeated, the word foreign on my tongue. "No, it's not—"

"Felix," she interrupted, her tone sharp but not unkind. "You're jealous. It's like, a textbook. You're watching Hyunjin with someone else, and it's bothering you because you care."

My chest tightened at her words, and I quickly shook my head, even though she couldn't see me. "That's ridiculous. Hyunjin and I spend about 9 hours a day together—filming, working, hanging out. If I'm... whatever you're saying, it's just because I'm tired."

"Hmm," she said, clearly unconvinced. "So, you're not jealous of Yuri at all?"

"Nope," I said quickly. "Not even a little."

She laughed softly, and I could hear Jihoon in the background, muttering something. Yulbi shushed him before speaking again. "Well, whatever you say. But if you're calling me in the middle of the day to talk about Hyunjin, maybe you should think about why that is."

I frowned, her words sinking in uncomfortably. "Thanks for the advice, Yulbi. Really helpful."

"Anytime," she said, her tone playful again. "Oh, and next time, try to be a little quick with your words because when I announced I was pregnant at the love show, you, Yuri, and hyunjin had gone somewhere. Be a little quick next time when I announce something okay?"

My face burned as I quickly congratulated her and ended the call.

The rest of the day didn't get any better.

Every time Hyunjin and Yuri were on set together, that same feeling crept up on me. It wasn't just the kissing scenes, it was the way he looked at her, even if it was just acting. The way they laughed together between takes.

I tried to distract myself, burying my nose in my sketchpad and scribbling aimless designs, but my focus kept slipping.

At one point, Hyunjin walked over to grab a bottle of water, and he caught me staring.

"What?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing," I said quickly, looking away.

He shrugged and walked off, but I could feel my face heating up.

By the time we got home, I was exhausted in every way possible.

Hyunjin kicked off his shoes at the door, stretching his arms above his head with a soft groan. "Long day, huh?"

"Yeah," I muttered, heading straight for the kitchen. "I'll make dinner."

"You sure? I can—"

"You'll burn it," I cut him off, already pulling ingredients from the fridge.

He laughed, the sound easy and warm. "Fair point. I'll set the table, then."

We fell into our usual routine, the tension from earlier fading into the background. Cooking always helped clear my mind, and by the time I plated our food, I felt a little more grounded.

Hyunjin dug in with his usual enthusiasm, complimenting the flavors between bites. I found myself smiling, despite everything.

But as the night wore on, Yulbi's words kept replaying in my head. You're jealous. Because you care.

And the worst part?

She might be right.
