I woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing softly on the nightstand. Hyunjin shifted beside me, his arm instinctively pulling me closer before he buried his face in my shoulder.
"You're not seriously getting up already, are you?" he mumbled, his voice heavy with sleep.
I chuckled, gently brushing my fingers through his messy hair. "We have an interview, remember?"
"Can't we just call in sick?" he teased, tightening his grip around my waist.
I smiled, tempted by the idea, but we both knew it wasn't an option. After the success of our recent projects, his acting and my designs. This interview was important. But more than that, I was curious to see how the questions we'd been asked months ago would feel now that everything between us was real.
By the time we arrived at the studio, the energy felt surreal. I still remember sitting here months ago, awkward and unsure, answering questions about a relationship that didn't exist. Now, it felt entirely different.
The host greeted us with a warm smile as we took our seats on the familiar couch. "Welcome back, Hyunjin and Felix! It's so great to have you two here again. The last time you were on this show, you were like a storm but the world keeps falling in love with you both. How does it feel?"
Hyunjin glanced at me, his lips curving into a small smile. "It feels... weird. like the good type of weird. we were umm....how do I say this?..figuring things out, I guess."
I nodded. "It's been an amazing journey. We've grown a lot now, both as individuals and together."
The host leaned forward, an excited glint in her eye. "Speaking of growth, I thought it would be fun to revisit some of the questions I asked you last time. Let's see how much has changed since then."
Hyunjin and I exchanged a glance, both of us smiling at the challenge.
"Alright," the host began. "First question: What's your favorite thing about each other?"
Hyunjin didn't hesitate this time. "Felix has this incredible ability to bring peace to any situation. No matter how chaotic things get, just being around him makes everything feel manageable."
I felt my heart swell at his words but kept my composure. "For me, it's Hyunjin's passion. He puts his whole heart into everything he does, whether it's his work or our relationship. It's inspiring."
The host beamed at us. "Those are such thoughtful answers. Okay, next question: What's your favorite activity to do together?"
I answered first this time, my mind immediately going to our quiet evenings. "Cuddling is still high on the list," I admitted with a laugh, "but I'd say traveling has become a favorite. Experiencing new places together is something we've really enjoyed."
Hyunjin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, traveling. There's something special about exploring the world with the person you love."
The host smiled knowingly. "That's beautiful. Now, here's a fun one: What do you think is required for a successful relationship?"
Hyunjin smirked, clearly remembering his sarcastic response from the last time. "Not a divorce lawyer, that's for sure," he joked, earning a laugh from the audience. "Honestly, I think the most important thing is communication. Felix and I have learned that being honest with each other, even when it's hard, makes all the difference."
I nodded. "I agree. Communication and trust. Without those, it's impossible to build anything lasting."
The host clapped her hands together. "Well said. Now, let's dive into a couple of new questions. How do you handle disagreements in your relationship?"
