Crossing your arms after your bout, a smile creeps unto Sunspot's face.

"Feeling better?" He signs.

"Yeah..." letting down your arms, you nod your head lazily. "Sorry for letting it out on you."

"There's no denying my accident," extending his arms he invites you for an embrace. Scrunching your face as you contemplate whether you should or not, he cracked your window after all.

However, his jacket has been on your mind. His warmth and familiar air...

With a small hop in your step, you accept the offer. His arms wrap comfortably tight, the warmth like that of a marshmallow sitting on top of hot cocoa.

Parting away couldn't be any more difficult, but, this is a non-verbal person who you do need to see his hands in order to know what he's saying. Thusly, you take a step back as you hold your hands behind your back.

"There we are!" His hands sign enthusiastically, "A wonderful smile for a wonderful person."

"Don't get sappy with me,"

"It's the least you can allow me to do after shutting me out in the cold." He wipes an invisible tear from his face.

"That I do apologize - oh no," You finally note the plastic bag hanging from his arm. "You brought something over, is it ruined?"

"Yeah..." Sunspot brings out the tupperwear of baked goods. Now crumbled with a few saviors. "That was my fault for tackling that..." he pauses, choosing his words wisely, "acquaintance."

"Did you genuinely think I was in some sort of danger?"

"Listen, a stranger that you have some beef with that's throwing rocks at your bedroom window in the middle of the night," He gives you a look that certainly meaning it does not pertain to him, "cannot be good."

You throw him the same look back, "You and I are on amazing terms, I don't count."He states plainly and eloquently with his hands.

"That's true." You rub your arm, nerves filling you for some reason. Well...you knew the reason. "Oh shit, the tea!"

Grabbing his hand you scramble inside.

"Just...ahhh..." You grab whatever rag you can that would protect your hands from the conducted heat, "Leave your things where-ever," whispered curses escape your lips as you settle the pot on a safe surface.

Sunspot looks around, taking in the sight of your home. Your warm lights, the scent of Pinesol in the air along with the comfort of your own signature favorite scents. Certainly from candles you've bought over the years and perfumes that have lingered about. An electricity buzzed through him thinking about how much of your home was curated to your tastes.

"I was going to make us some tea but its crazy hot right now. I could put some ice..."

Shrugging off his jacket he places it on a chair waving his hand as if to dismiss the notion, his backpack placed on floor, "Don't worry about it, I'll be okay. What about you? What do you need?"

"Um..." You look around, trying to gauge your mental state. Brushing a hand through your hair you come to realize the mess you were in as you catch a knot in it. "I should really change out of this and maybe a shower honestly. But you're here so I can't just...leave you alone."

Rummaging through the various teabags you have you take out two of a chamomile lavender.

"If you feel comfortable enough I don't mind waiting." Two mugs in your hand, you place them on the counter, contemplating the idea.

"What if I take like an hour?"

"I'll wait," He takes one of the tea bags and breaks the seal from its paper enclosure.

You wanted to strangle him with that perfectly good white turtle neck. Why must he be so chivalrous.

"Just make sure your account is logged so I can stream some shows or movies, and like I said...," He makes his way around the kitchen table towards you, a hand never leaving the tabletop, "I'll be here if you need me."

His hand rests on your arm as he gives a warm smile.

Your chest grows warm, fingertips buzzing as your mind struggles to form a thought.

"Yeah-" Your voice cracks as you quickly clear it, "Yeah, alright, lemmie just..." You shuffle towards your living room, hearing the drum of your heartbeat in your ears.

Sunspot waits in his spot in the kitchen. A serenity filling him. The lull warmth from the medallion under his sweater offering comfort. Not a use to take advantage of a situation but rather, the warmth to remember to stay cool.

Calm.

Understand what is needed.

Grabbing the pot with the previous rag you were using he pours the water into your cup and then his. The sound of warm water pouring a sort of welcome as you come back into the kitchen with a remote in hand, listing off the streaming services you have and any physical media.

"I have snacks in here in case you need something." He nods as he hands the mug towards you, "I'll have my phone on me if you need anything."

"I'll keep it mind, want me to order food?"

God, you want to kiss him.

"I'll pay you back?"

"Oh, you will." He signs playfully.

"Now hold on!" he grabs your shoulders and spins you away. Pushing you out of the room. Of course, you quickly turn back around, seeing his playful face.

"Just a sleepover and letting me do your hair!" He clasps his hands together.

"That's... not that bad actually..." you think for a moment. "Why not."

"You won't regret this."
