I'm early sa school since may papers pa pala akong need isign. I didn't have the chance to eat breakfast dahil sa pagmamadali ko.

I heard a knock so I opened the door.

"Good morning, Pres." Kael, one of the class representatives.

"May transferee po tayo and sabi ni Dean na i-tour daw natin sa campus." Liam, his co-rep added.

"Ganon ba. Marami kasi akong need ifinish na work eh. How about you tour the transferee around?" I said.

"Talaga po?" Nag liwanag naman ang mata ni Liam.

"Sure. San nga pala galing yung new student? And what's the name?" I got curious din.

"Balikbayan daw Pres eh. Janice ata ang name." Kael said with uncertainty

"Denise! Denise Julia yung name. Naku, Pres! Alam mo bang artist yun sa US? Kaya nga excited akong kami yung mag t-tour sa kanya mamaya kasi idol ko yun!" Oh! That's why pala nagliliwanag yung mata ni Liam kanina.

Denise. Parang I heard that name na.

I am seated na sa cafe and Maloi volunteered to order my food. Stay put lng daw ako kasi kanina pa talaga ako busy.

I tried to massage my shoulder and stretched my neck a little. Medyo gininaw na naman ako. I forgot my blazer sa office kasi.

I took my phone and opened my soc med. Di parin nagpaparamdam si Mikha Lim. I even sent her a DM last night. You know, friends asking friends if kamusta na sila but she didn't reply.

I was busy scrolling when I felt something landed on my shoulder. This scent is familiar.

"Wag ka kasi mag sleeveless. Lamigin ka pa naman." It was Jeremy. He sat beside me after he placed his jacket on my shoulder.

"Naiwan ko lang yung blazer ko sa office. No need to lend me your jacket." I removed it and gave it back to him. Buti nalang di na siya nag insist.

"Aiah. Uhm...can I ask you out? Like, again? I know you just want us to be friend but can you give me another chance?" Jeremy said.

Some students were looking at us. I don't like this, Jeremy always put me into the spotlight, nakaka pressure.

I glaced at Maloi's direction, she's headed back sa table namin together with the girls.

"Sorry, I really can't talaga Jeremy. I can only see you as a friend lng." I looked at him. Na g-guilty talaga ako kasi I know Jeremy is doing his best to win me.

I scanned the room looking for Maloi kasi ang tagal nila when I spotted a red haired person sa entrance ng cafe.

Kahit maraming students na nakapalibot, I know who is that person. Mikha.

Napatayo ako, Jeremy also left na. I looked at the entrance but the red haired girl disappeared. I'm sure it's Mikha. Siya lng naman yung pulang buhok dito sa campus.

I returned to my seat na and Maloi is already seated na rin.

"San ka galing beh?" Maloi asked without looking.

"Somewhere" walang gana akong umupo.

"Is this seat taken?" I heard someone speak behind me.

I turned and I swear my world stopped...no — parang nag slowmo. Yung parang sa movies. There you are. She's holding a tray with her food, she's smiling wide while looking at me. This is the smile that I missed.
