After 7 years...

 

 

-Mikha-

"Mikha, where are you? Andito na kami sa school."

I put my bags inside the car and headed to the driver's seat.

"Coming na po. Wag masyadong excited."

 

As I entered the car, tinapat ko kagad yung aircon sa akin. Grabe! Sobrang init parin talaga dito sa Pilipinas.

 

After 7 years, nakabalik din.

I removed my jacket and put on my sun glasses as I arrived at the school.

I'm now only wearing my black tube top with my grey vest and black trousers. Sakto lang to kasi sobrang init. Kung kaya ko lang talaga matiis si Sophia, hindi ako uuwi dito.

I grabbed the stuffed toy at the back seat and headed my way to the gymnasium.

I can see na napapalingon yung mga tao sa akin when I walked pass them. Well, maybe I still got the charms?

 

"Baby! Sophia!" I called her as I reached the gate and she ran to me as fast as she could the moment she saw the stuffed toy I am waving.

 

"Mr. Bunny!"

She cannot contain her excitement nang makita nya yung pasalubong ko. Kinarga ko siya kaagad at pinaulanan ng halik.

 

"How's our baby girl? Na miss mo ba ako?" I smooched her face. Ang cute cute talaga ng batang to. 

"What took you so long? You said sunod ka kaagad but pinag wait mo kami nila Mom." Sophie is now pouting. Awwww so cute naman this baby.

"I'm sorry na po, Mommy Mikhs needs to work pa kasi. But hey, I'm here na. Umabot ako sa family day!" she let out giggles as I tickled her sides.

 

I felt Sophia squirmed when a cute little boy came to us crying looking for his mom so I put her down.

 

"Hey, little boy. Why are you crying? Sino kasama mo?" I tapped his head para patahanin siya. Umabot na siya dito sa may waiting area so I stopped him baka makalabas ng gate. Andami pa namang tao.

 

"Jacob, where's your mom? Don't cry na." Sophia went to him and even offered her toy para tumahan ito. Napakabait talagang bata.

"Do you know him, baby?" I faced him and I knelt to wipe the little boy's tears. Kawawa naman, iyak nang iyak. The way he sniff while crying reminds me of someone. Hmmmm, cute.

"Don't cry na Jacob. Sophia and I will help you find your mommy, okay? Here, hold my hand." I offered my hand for him to hold and I held Sophia on the other side.

I was about to get up when I heard a familiar voice nearby.

"Jacob!?"
 

"Jakey!"

Nakatalikod ako sa kung saan man nangagaling yung boses. I am still holding Jacob's hand nang biglang magliwanag ang mukha nito when he saw the person behind me.
