Chapter 86:
The Return to Kampalyam

As the journey to Kampalyam continued, the Pandavas’ playful teasing persisted. With a mixture of curiosity and light-heartedness, they asked Draupadi, “If we wanted another child, would you be willing to give us one?”

Draupadi, already blushing from the earlier teasing, shyly nodded in agreement while she adjusted their jewelry, angavastras, and hair. Her actions were tender and meticulous, a reflection of her deep affection and care.

The Pandavas continued their playful banter. “Unlike other wives,” Yudhishthira said with a grin, “who might not want to see their husbands happy or understand their desires, Draupadi is willing and perfect for our desires. She understands us and is always eager to make us happy.”

Draupadi, adjusting Arjuna’s hair, leaned in to whisper in his ear, “I can give all of you five children myself if that’s what you want.” Her words, though whispered, carried a promise of devotion and commitment. Arjuna, slightly taken aback, shared her words with the others.

As Draupadi moved towards Nakula, he gently pulled her into his lap. Her lehenga brushed against his face as she settled comfortably. With the teasing words still fresh in her mind, she whispered to Nakula, “I am all yours, fully. I cannot disappoint my husbands' desires, as a wife, queen, and warrior.”

Nakula, deeply touched by her sincerity, shared her words with the others. The Pandavas were visibly moved by Draupadi’s commitment and affection. Their laughter and teasing subsided, replaced by a sense of admiration and respect for their beloved queen.

The journey back to Kampalyam was filled with a renewed sense of unity and warmth. The bond between Draupadi and the Pandavas grew even stronger, as they looked forward to their return with a heart full of love and anticipation.
