As Draupadi tossed aside the lehenga, her movements were swift and decisive. She changed into a simpler saree, free of the heavy pattu, holding only a modest silver and diamond adornment. The transformation was immediate—she went from being weighed down by opulence to embracing a more relaxed state of simplicity.
The Pandavas watched in amazement as Draupadi continued to hurl the heavy jewelry out of the room. Each piece of exquisite craftsmanship seemed insignificant compared to the relief she sought. The glittering treasures scattered across the floor like a cascade of stars.
“Did you see that?” whispered Yudhishthira, his eyes wide. “She’s tossing around more wealth than some kingdoms hold.”
Arjuna chuckled softly, “It’s like she’s sweeping away the burden of royalty. We should definitely heed her orders.”
Sahadeva nodded, “We’ll need to get someone to put all this in the jewelry and dress room. We shouldn’t keep it lying around.”
As the Pandavas discussed the matter, Draupadi’s authoritative voice cut through the murmurs. “Put everything in the jewelry and dress room. No one should tap on my door. If anyone does, you’ll regret it.”
The Pandavas exchanged amused glances, their eyes sparkling with mirth and respect.
“This is going to be quite the task,” Nakula whispered. “But I think we all understand why she’s being so strict right now.”
“Indeed,” Bhima added, “her orders are not to be taken lightly. Better we follow them to the letter.”
They quietly nodded in agreement, their eyes occasionally flicking toward the door, as if to ensure that no one would dare disturb the queen's rest. The sense of camaraderie among the Pandavas was palpable as they prepared to follow Draupadi's commands, their whispers fading into a shared understanding of her desire for peace and relaxation.
