Chapter 47:
Meeting the SageThe Pandavas, eager to learn more about Draupadi's role and responsibilities, decided to visit the sage once again. They approached him with questions about Draupadi’s work and her contributions to their kingdom.
“Great sage,” Yudhishthira began, “we seek your wisdom regarding Draupadi’s role. We wish to understand more about her responsibilities and her impact on our kingdom.”
The sage, with a serene smile, responded, “Draupadi is indeed a remarkable figure. Not only is she the queen of Kampalyam, but she also serves as a skilled doctor.”
The Pandavas, surprised and impressed, listened intently as the sage continued. “As a queen, Draupadi governs with wisdom and compassion, ensuring the well-being and prosperity of the kingdom. Her leadership is marked by her dedication and grace.”
He paused, allowing the weight of his words to sink in. “Additionally, Draupadi’s medical expertise is renowned. She uses her knowledge to heal and care for the people, combining her role as a ruler with her passion for medicine.”
The Pandavas were deeply moved by this revelation. They realized that Draupadi’s contributions extended far beyond what they had previously understood. Her dual roles as a queen and a doctor exemplified her commitment to both her people and her responsibilities.
“We are grateful for your insights,” Bhima said. “Draupadi’s dedication to her roles is truly admirable, and we are fortunate to have her in our lives.”
Arjuna added, “Her skills as a doctor and a queen reflect her strength and kindness. We will support her in every way possible.”
Nakula and Sahadeva, both impressed by the sage’s words, expressed their respect. “We will ensure that Draupadi receives the recognition and support she deserves for her remarkable work.”
The sage nodded, pleased with their response. “May Draupadi continue to inspire and lead with her exceptional abilities. Her contributions are invaluable, and she is indeed a beacon of wisdom and care.”
With this newfound understanding, the Pandavas returned to Kampalyam with a renewed appreciation for Draupadi’s roles. They were eager to support her in her diverse responsibilities and to celebrate her remarkable achievements as both a queen and a healer.
