Playful Propositions
As they neared Kampalyam, the Pandavas' teasing resumed with renewed vigor. They were eager to continue their lighthearted banter with Draupadi, now more comfortable and jovial in the company of their beloved queen.
“Since you’re so willing,” Bhima teased, “how about we start planning for another child soon? After all, we wouldn’t want to wait too long!”
Draupadi, who had been enjoying the playful atmosphere, blushed deeply but managed to maintain her composure. “Oh, is that so?” she replied, her tone both playful and intrigued. “It seems my husbands have quite the plans for me.”
Arjuna chimed in with a grin, “Yes, and we’re all looking forward to it. What’s a few more months compared to the joy of expanding our family?”
Draupadi adjusted Nakula’s angavastra and looked at him with a smile. “I suppose if you all insist,” she said, her voice a mix of jest and affection, “I’ll have to make sure I’m prepared for whatever you ask.”
Sahadeva, catching the playful mood, added, “Indeed! It’s always wonderful to see how willing you are to meet our desires. It makes us appreciate you even more.”
Draupadi, feeling the warmth of their affection and the playful pressure, leaned in close to Nakula again. “Well, if it’s what my husbands want, I’ll certainly do my best,” she whispered. “But remember, you all must be prepared for the responsibilities that come with it.”
The Pandavas laughed, their teasing light-hearted and filled with love. They knew Draupadi’s willingness to embrace their desires came from a place of deep commitment and affection. As they approached their kingdom, the mood was filled with a sense of unity and anticipation for the future.
