CHAPTER 51
Draupadi's Playful RequestAs the day wore on, Draupadi found herself in a playful mood, still energized from her peaceful walk in the garden. The Pandavas, who had been close by all day, sensed her lightheartedness and stayed near, enjoying her cheerful demeanor.
As they gathered in the courtyard later that afternoon, Draupadi, with a mischievous glint in her eye, decided to tease her husbands. She leaned against a pillar, looking at them with a soft smile, and then, with a hint of challenge in her voice, she said, “You know, it’s been a while since any of you have kissed me properly.”
The Pandavas, caught off guard by her sudden statement, exchanged surprised glances before breaking into smiles.
“Is that so?” Yudhishthira responded, raising an eyebrow. “And here I thought you were the one who had been avoiding us.”
Draupadi tilted her head, her smile widening. “Maybe I’ve just been waiting for the right moment to remind you.”
Bhima, never one to shy away from a challenge, stepped forward with a grin. “Well then, if that’s what you want, who are we to deny our queen?”
Before she could say another word, Bhima bent down and captured her lips in a firm, affectionate kiss. Draupadi responded instantly, her hands resting on his broad shoulders as she returned the kiss with equal affection.
As Bhima stepped back, Arjuna moved in, his eyes sparkling with playful energy. “You’ve been teasing us, Draupadi. Now it’s our turn.” He leaned in, pressing his lips against hers, the kiss gentle but full of passion. Draupadi smiled against his lips, enjoying the attention.
Not wanting to be left out, Nakula and Sahadeva approached her together. Nakula brushed a lock of hair away from her face before softly kissing her lips, his touch tender. Sahadeva followed, his kiss filled with a warmth that made Draupadi’s heart flutter.
Finally, Yudhishthira, who had been watching his brothers, came forward. He placed a hand on Draupadi’s cheek, looking into her eyes for a moment before leaning in. His kiss was deep and slow, conveying all the love and respect he felt for her.
When he pulled away, Draupadi couldn’t help but laugh softly, her eyes twinkling with joy. “You all certainly know how to make a woman feel loved,” she said, her voice filled with affection.
The Pandavas gathered around her, each of them filled with a sense of happiness and contentment. They had been through so much together, but in moments like this, the bond between them felt unbreakable.
“We love you, Draupadi,” Arjuna said, speaking for all of them. “And we’ll never tire of showing you just how much.”
Draupadi’s heart swelled with love as she looked at each of them in turn. “And I’ll never tire of reminding you,” she replied with a smile.
The day ended with laughter and warmth, the playful exchange strengthening the deep connection they all shared.
