A couple of weeks later.

"Alright, let's go over the plan one more time just to make sure we understand everything," Emilia says, sitting at the end of the dining room table.
We all nod in agreement as her cousin Esteban enters the room.
Esteban is the guy she mentioned before who found and tracked me for a while to help her get me away from Nicolas.
"I still say we should just blow up the whole estate and call it a day," Jackson adds, leaning back in his chair and winking at Emilia.
Jackson was brought here a week after me and David did since he knew his best friend would be worried sick and wondering where he and Isa were.
So he asked Emelia if she could....gently bring him here, but just like David, he didn't come without a fight.
Weirdly, he stopped fighting once his eyes fell on Emilia, and he has been flirting with her since.
"Didn't I tell you to stop doing that the first twenty times you've been flirting with me?" she says through gritted teeth.
"Hard to do so when someone as beautiful as you is sitting across from me," he quickly says.
Slapping the back of Jackson's head, David whispers something that surprisingly causes him to be quiet.
Let's just say Jackson is a very....Interesting individual.
"Back to what I was saying," She says, clearing her throat.
I notice a light tint of blush on her cheeks but ignore it since she'll just deny that she's a little bit attracted to him.
"Alright, so Jennifer will go inside to speak to Nicolas for some odd reason while we all wait outside in case he tries anything funny with her, and once she settles whatever it is she's settling, we call the police and get this bastard locked up for good, and don't worry Jennifer I have the best lawyers in the city so whatever shit he tries to pull won't work on them" she assures confidence radiating from her.
We all nod in agreement, getting up from our seats and exiting the room.
Emilia and Esteban will probably go to her office to discuss more details on the plan, while David, Jackson, and I will go to the backyard to sit on the patio.
"Has this antidote shit worked on yall yet?" Jackson asked, resting his ankle on his knee.
Emilia's order for the antidote arrived a couple of days ago, and we wasted no time taking it.
David has been progressing well, but since mine was more vital, it's taken a little longer than we hoped.
"We've made some progress. I'm slowly getting my memories back, little by little, but it's taking some more time for Jennifer since Emilia found out that Nicolas gave her a stronger dosage, saying he probably did it because he was mainly concerned with her forgetting things rather than me."
"Right, gotta make sure his supposed wife never leaves her shitty life to go back to the good one," Jackson says, rolling his eyes. "Despise men like him."
"You and me both," David adds in.
Yeah, imagine how I've felt about being married to him.
"Besides the topic of shitty men, though," he suddenly says, sitting upright, "Is Emilia single or?".
"Jackson," David sternly yells, "Stop flirting with her before she shoots you."
"I wouldn't mind dying at the hands of a woman that sexy," Jackson smirks.
"Of course you wouldn't," David says, annoyed, facepalming himself. "I'm sorry for his Behavior, babe. He tends to act like a dog in heat at times."
Gasping, Jackson's jaw falls open as his eyes widen in shock, "You're no better than me when it comes down to Jennifer."
"I know when to keep it in my pants," David says offensively.
"Ha, sure you do".
They continue their argument while I just sit here and listen, finding their bond hilarious.
These two act like brothers who can't stand each other but, at the same time, love each other to the fullest.
If one gets hurt, the other has their back every time.
I probably had the same relationship with Emilia long ago, but I will never know until all my memories return.
To be honest....I'm all too excited to see how my life was before Nicolas.
Excited to see a happier, more lively version of me.
I especially can't wait to leave Nicolas once and for all.
