"Umm...its complicated," May looks over at me a chews the inside of her cheek, then nibbling on her lip.

"Well, its a long car ride, so will you tell me now?" I push.

"No, it might put a dampener on the evening, and I don't want that," May smiles. "Please?"

"Alright. But later tonight," I look over at May, and she looks amazing. Her red dress hugging her curves, and the silver pattern embroidered on the top. She has her hair in a braid type thing, and her make up dramatic with a light red at the top. She has red earrings and black nail polish with glossy red tip. She is wearing black, strap covered heels so tall I'm surprised she hasn't broken her ankles. She is amazing, beautiful, and hot. She's perfection.

"So where are we going?" May looks up at me while I continue driving.

"I thought about being cliché and surprising you," I turn and grin at her before returning my eyes back to the road, "but then decided against it. We're going to an Italian restaurant. It's pretty high class."

"Oh, I love Italian!" May gushes.

"Well, prefect," I say. After a moment of silence, I speak again. "So my job is to be Alpha. What's your job?"

"I work in the bookstore. I know, total nerd. But I love to read. I'm also future Beta of my pack," May replies.

"Oh, your dad's Beta?"

"Uh, not anymore," she says.

"Oh, why?" I ask with curiosity. She's silent for a minute.

"He died. It was about four years ago, so it's alright. It was in a rogue attack," May says, sadness lacing her voice.

"Oh. Sorry I asked."

"It's okay."

After parking, I get out of the car and open her door for her.

"Thank you," she steps out. We go to the door and I hold it open for her. Chloe told me how to be a gentleman. Trust me, the worst six hours of my life.

"Reservations for Darting," I say to the receptionist from my pack.

"Yes, Alpha. This way, Alpha and...Lu-" he stops, looking at me for confirmation. I don't stop him. "Luna." He finishes.

"I'm not-" I grab her hand and kiss her temple, stopping her. She looks up at me and rolls her eyes playfully. The man leads us to a corner booth, with the seat connected. We slide in next to each other, and I put my arm around her shoulders.

"Maya will be right with you," he leaves. May's eyes widen.

"Something wrong, Pup?"

"Uh, I just think I know Maya, she goes to my school," May furrows her eyebrows. Damn, that's cute.

"Oh, that's nice," I smile.

"Not really," she sighs.

"Do you want another waiter?" I ask, concerned. She waves it off.

"Hi I'm Maya, I'll be your waiter for today. Can I start you off with something to drink?" Maya doesn't even look up at us.

"I will take some champagne." Maya writes it down.

"I'll have some unsweetened iced oolong tea with a lemon slice in it," May smiles. Maya stops writing.

"May?" She whispers to herself. She looks up and her eyes widen. "Oh, May I'm so, so, so, sorry about earlier today. Can we get past that?"

"Uh, I guess? I just want my tea and return to my date tonight," May smiles warmly.

"Right, right. Sorry," she leaves, shuffling away and putting her head down.

"So what happened today with Maya?" I ask.

"Oh, the usual stuff with Maya being a slut and a bitch," she says like its nothing. Someone was being rude to my mate!

"What?" I growl.

"Its okay, I'm fine now. Jared was with me so I'm fine," May smiles but then it falters, realizing she brought up Jared. "I'm sorry. I feel so comfortable with you, I feel compelled to...tell you everything." She blushes.

"Well, I'm glad you feel comfortable with me," I smirk. "Now going back to what Maya said earlier..."

"Trust me, its fine." I give her a pointed look. "Fine, fine. She just told me some rude things. Can we get back to dinner? Don't be mean to Maya. I hate her, but don't. I don't want to be her. Please?" I nod, agreeing reluctantly. Maya brings us our drinks.

"Are you two ready to order?" May nods her head.

"I will have the Pecan Pesto Shells with Sausage," May closes her menu.

"I'll take the Chicken Tetrazzini," I hand her my menu.

"I'll have that right up," she leaves with our menus. This will be a fantastic night.

"Thank you," May says politely to the receptionist. I hold the door open for her, and she shivers in the late winter air. I shrug off my jacket and drape it across her shoulders. She leans up to kiss me and she smiles against my mouth. She pecks my lips.

"Thanks for the amazing night, Lucas," she leans into me.

"We're not done yet," I grin. She looks up at me, and starts to giggle.

"Okay." I lead her to my car and I start to drive to the lake. We arrive in two minutes. We could have walked, but I didn't want her feet to hurt in her heels.

"We are going swimming," I smile.

"I don't have a swim suit," her smile falls.

"I had Chloe steal one for you," I tell her, and her face brightens. She hurries out of the car and follows me to the trunk, and I pull out our swimming things.

"The bathrooms are over there," I point to them. "I'll be waiting for you." We both go into our separate bathrooms. I take off my clothes and pull on my trunks. I step out of the bathroom, waiting with my clothes in a bundle. May comes out also, her clothes in front of her. She looks beautiful. She has on a beaded bohemian looking bikini. She stares at me, her eyes falling in my chest and stomach.

"See something you like?" I smirk. She blushes and turns away.

"Its all yours, Pup," I say. We walk to the car and throw our clothes in the back. We run down to the lake.

"Ready to jump?" I ask. She nods, and takes my hand.

So, we jump.
