Unknown POV
I know I'm a bitch.
I don't deny the truth, I mean, I am. May deserves every thing to hurt her, she made Derek hide away for years because she had to open her big mouth and scream for her other brother.
Of course, she doesn't know who I am. I'm the last person she would ever expect. I'm too respected for anyone to even bat an eyelash at. I hate her. She is a stupid bitch and she needs to pay. I want to make her suffer.
I watch her everyday, making sure to alert Derek where she goes, her normal schedule and when her friends aren't around. That's when it gets hard.
Lucas is always around her, at least when she's at home. Lucas will either be in his office working, or in the meeting room inside the pack house. He would smell Derek from five levels down or up. It's impossible for Derek to get to May inside the pack, so I always alert him when she leaves, like that one day at the bookstore. That was me. I know, amazing, right?
Max, her brother, will visit very frequently, on weekends all the time. He even brings his mate, Sydney. Sydney and May usually go to get their nails done on Wednesday and Sunday because the fact that Lucas owns half the nail salon shops in the whole state means that the "Luna" can get hers done all the time. Max will discuss pack business with Lucas while that is happening. When the girls are done, Max picks them up and drives them home. Trust me, it gets worse.
Lena and Alex are her human best friends who are always there, all the time. They are at school, the mall with her, the pack house, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even going out for a snack. They refuse to leave her alone. Neither does anyone else.
James and Dylan, the two bodyguards she had during the bookstore attack visit her couple times a week, making sure she's okay and bringing her new books. It's like they respect her or something. That's some messed up shit.
Jared is stuck to her side during school and insists on walking her to and from class, driving her home, picking her up, and even waiting outside the bathroom for her. When he isn't doing that, an ever bigger problem happens.
Josh, Lucas's Beta is her assigned bodyguard. He, like Jared, waits outside the bathroom. He has his schedule arranged so he is in all her freaking classes. His job is to be with May at all times. I don't get it, how could one little girl, one little bitch, mean the world to a couple of people?
Lucas
Six weeks. That's how long it took for me to go through the entire pack to search for the mole.
And of course, she didn't show up.
I put video cameras outside houses, along areas of the mall, around the pack house, and May's room. Jared and I are actually being civil, because all we want to do is protect May. I spoke with his Alpha and asked him if Jared could move into my pack house so we can protect May better. May declined Jared's help, insisting she didn't need protection. Alpha Cole said it would be a great idea and Jared can move back once this is all fixed. I made sure Jared wasn't close to May's room. May would be busy, tying to finish her homework she didn't need to do, hanging out with Emma, Chloe, Lena and Alex.
Thank God she never goes out of the house anymore. She doesn't work at the bookstore anymore, so Dylan and James aren't needed anymore. They still visit May frequently, making sure she's okay and I appreciate that.
Within those six weeks of searching for the mole, the Moon Goddess decided to visit and tell us some crucial things.
"Now, I need you all to listen. May is in danger. Derek wants to kill her, and won't stop. I have seen him working with people, but I can never see their faces. I know that one thing is for certain; when Derek finds May, he will kill her on the spot. He's stronger than you all think, and stronger than May says."
