Third Person POV

Lucas looked at Derek, then May, then back at Derek. He could feel Chloe's pain of losing her mate, and he could feel the pain of losing his best friend.

May could tell something was wrong, and she knew something had happened, hearing Chloe's loud sobs and wails. Lucas seemed hurt and in pain to May, and she had to do something.

"Go. I'll be fine. Besides, I want to take him on my own. It's time I avenged Mom's death," May spoke bravely.

"I love you. Good luck," Lucas leaves with regret, but he knows what he has to do.

*~*~*~*~*~*~

Staring into the crowd of dead bodies, he stepped over them, realizing he needed to find May, fast. He caught a glimpse of Maya, fighting with courage and determination, blood staining her muzzle and trailing down her wolfy lips.

Jared smiles at Maya, knowing she changed for good.

A wolf charged at him, and Jared shifted, sinking his teeth into the rogues neck. Then, ten more rogues ran towards him. Knowing he couldn't take them all at once, he ran into the woods, hoping to outrun them. Jared kept running, running, leading them to Two Moons.

A wolf snapped at him, grazing his hind leg. Jared growed in pain, pushing himself to run further. He finally saw Two Moons school, school for Werewolves, with the exception of Alex and Lena of course. Jared ran into the building, hoping to lead them off track.

Jared only saw three of the wolves, and he finished them quickly, tearing into their necks and stomachs. The others, startled with fear, left, sprinting. Jared smiled a wolfy grin, stepping out of the school only to see Two Moons destroyed. Walls closed in, signs knocked down, fires erupting left and right.

Two Moons was ruined.

Lena's POV

After Tyler walked into the room, I was confused. All he was doing was smiling at me. He kept saying "mate" but no one else was in the room but me.

"What's your name, beautiful?" Tyler asks me, stepping towards me.

"Lena. And my brother, your patient, is Alex. Please fix him," I say to him, gesturing to my dying brother.

"Lena. Beautiful name. Beautiful face," Tyler is now standing right in front of me, caressing my cheek. I step away from him.

"My brother. Fix. Him. Now."

Tyler grins, smiling wide.

"Feisty," he whispers next to my ear, "I like it." Suddenly, Alex starts coughing loudly, and I push Tyler off of me, rushing to Alex's side. A faint line of blood trails down the side of his mouth.

"Alex! Oh my God," I grab a wet paper towel off the tray and wipe his mouth off. "Tyler get in here! My brother!" Footsteps near me, until they're right next to me, gently pushing me away from Alex. I stand behind him, watching Tyler examine his vitals.

"Looks like everything else is fine, but it appears you're showing symptoms of serious Tetanus. The only way to survive this is by turning you into a Werewolf right now. If I don't, you'll die," Tyler says to Alex, then turns to me.

"A Werewolf? Is that even legal to turn a human into a Were?" I ask, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Only if you have a pack doctor license. I'm almost done with my training, so once I run this by my dad, I can turn him. I'll knock him out first then give him a shot of Werewolf venom to turn him," Tyler smiles. "He'll be okay."

"But, a Werewolf? There's no other way?"

"I'm afraid not. I'll be right back Angel. I need to go talk to my father," Tyler walks past me, kissing my cheek on the way out. I shake my head a little, walking towards my brother.

"I don't want to be a Werewolf. There isn't anything else?"

"No Alex. I wish there was, and I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. I would take your place in a heartbeat," I sniffle, feeling a tear roll down my face.

"But I'm glad it was me and not you," Alex adds, coughing.

"Oh Alex," I sob out, hugging him. "I love you so much."

"Me too, Lena. Me too."

May

"May, I always thought you'd try to kill me first. But you're standing there looking like an idiot," Derek laughs dryly, grinning.

"Who's the idiot now?" I leap forward and kick him, making him fall down. He scrabbles to get something out of his pocket and I take the opportunity to punch him in the throat. He gags, but manages to kick me away.

I growl and advance towards him, but I see the glint of a knife from the sun by Derek.

Most likely silver laced with wolfsbane.

Derek grunts, spitting out blood. He twirls the knife around in his hand.

"I always loved family reunions," he says just as he throws his knife at my head.
