Y/n's pov

I was done preparing dinner when I heard the sound of car parking.

Y/n: Taehyung must be here.

I put the dishes on the table and went to open the door.
Why isn't he ringing the bell?

I walked near the door and looked outside from the hole in the door.

Taehyung was standing in front of the door but he wasn't alone. There was also a girl beside him.

Who's she? I never seen her.
I saw Taehyung hesitating to ring the bell. I giggled at his reactions he must be thinking about morning must be embarrassed a lot.

He took breath and presses the doorbell.
I stepped back and straighten my dress and after that I opened the door.

Taehyung gave me a small smile.
Tae: hii y/n!

Y/n: hii come in.

He entered inside with the girl following him. She bowed in front of me.

Girl: good evening miss Kim!

Y/n: good evening!

I looked at taehyung with a confused look. He nodded and introduced her us.

Tae: y/n this is the new assistant I hired. It's too much of work in the office so I hired her. As you are the ceo I need your approval that's why I brought her with me. Sorry I didn't inform you before.

Y/n: No it's fine. You hired her so it's fine with me. You can do what you want I trust you.

I smiled and he nodded lightly in the response. I looked at the girl who was looking down on the floor.

Y/n: what's your name?

Girl: Lee hena.

Y/n: Nice name. You look young what's your age?

Hena: I am 23 yrs old. It's my first time working.

Y/n: wow you are really young. I hope you will work hard.

Hena: yes mam!

She said and bowed down again.

Y/n: No need to be so formal. Let's have dinner since you here.

Hena: I will be honored to have dinner with you.

She's really trying to flatter me.

Y/n: taehyung you can change in comfortable clothes if you want. Go and get changed. I will arrange the table.

Taehyung nodded and went upstairs to his room which he used to stay. Some of his stuff is still there.

Hena: let me help you with the food.

Y/n: thankyou.

She followed me to the kitchen and started helping me arrange the food in the table.
I noticed that she wanted to aks something.

Y/n: do you want to ask something?

She immediately looked up at Me and shook her head.

Hena: no Mam!

Y/n: just ask it. I won't mind.

Hena: umm...actually I wanted to ask. Are you and Mr Kim friends.

I smiled and nodded.

Y/n: yes since childhood we are best friends.

She made a oh face and continue doing what we were doing.
We were finished arranging the table.

Y/n: sit down.

Me and hena sat across each other waiting for taehyung to come.
Taehyung came so I pointed at him to sit next to Me but I think he didn't notice and sat beside the girl.

He must have not noticed otherwise taehyung would never to that.
I shrugged away the thoughts.

Y/n: help yourself..hena you too.

Both of them served themselves and I too.
Well I wanted to talk with taehyung alone but nevermind.
I can talk later there's plenty of time.

Y/n: how's it?

Hena: it's delicious.

Y/n: thankyou.
I looked at taehyung who was silent the whole time.
I realised there's so much changed between us. All because I pushed him away.

But it's fine I will make everything OK again. I can imagine he will be happy.
I will never push you away again.

Suddenly taehyung coughed.
I grabbed the glass of water to give it to him but before I could hena already gave it to him.

Hena: here Mr Kim.

Taehyung took a sip from the glass and
Hena rubbed his back.
I put the glass down.

Y/n: are you okay?

Tae: yes I am fine.

I feel something weird in my chest.
Y/n let's just not think too much. OK.

We continue eating again. I felt hena was glancing at taehyung again and again. Why?
After sometime we finished eating and hena helped me in cleaning.

We both walked to the living room where taehyung was sitting.
He got up as soon as I entered.

Tae: y/n! It's getting late we should leave now.

Y/n: you can stay here if you want. Your place is far away. It's already late and you must be tired.

Taehyung shook his hand and Said.

Tae: no it's fine I don't wanna bother you.

He said It normally but I could feel what he meant. But I can't blame him.

Hena: yes mam. Thanks for the dinner.
She bowed to me and I gave her a smile smile.

Y/n: It's fine.

Tae: well what you wanted to talk about?

He aksed Me and I glanced at hena standing behind him.

Y/n: It's fine let's talk about it some other time.

He nodded and turned around to hena.

Tae: hena I will drop you at your place.

Hena: no It's fine Mr Kim. I can go by myself.

Tae: it's late and it's not safe. So let me drop you.

Hena silently nodded but I swear I saw her blushing. Does she?

Tae: ok y/n we will be leaving then.

Y/n: okay.

Then I walked them out to the door and they both left.
I walked to the living room and sat down on the couch leaning my back on the couch and closed my eyes.

Y/n: when did we became this distant?
