Damsel in Distress :

The Knowles home moved in a panic. Everyone seemed to jump awake when Beyoncé ran inside, and from then on, they'd been preparing to leave. They didn't know where they were going but they knew they had someone to find.

Tina called the kids' father, informing him to come by to watch the young child who still slept. Amelia wouldn't be allowed to tag along. They felt as though she was too small; too young. Not ready to see whatever it is they felt would be revealed. If anything.

Beyoncé was in her own world. She threw on yard gear, her cowboy hat, and her utility belt. There's nothing she wouldn't be prepared for. Anything that came her way would be removed in an instant.

"Mama i'm gonna drive down with Solange to get the horses, you can ride Snow." She gave instructions before grabbing her leather jacket off the hook and heading out the door with Solange. They moved quicker than their feet could handle, jumping inside the car.

"Wait!" Anna came, making them stop and sliding inside as well. "Imma drive around town."

"What did dad say about comin here with Mel? She don't need to come."

"He said alright, that's what Mama waitin on."

"Well we ain't leavin out without her so he need to hurry." Beyoncé sped down the road, hopping out and rushing across the field to the Maraj barn. She noticed a lock on it, smacking her lips in frustration. "Fuck it."

Taking the tool from her waist, she hammered the lock until it broke. Falling on the ground in a loud shingle.

"Solange you get Dusk, i'll get Glaze."

They moved off of her orders. Everything went quicker that way. As they walked out Anna Mae sped down the road after seeing them.

"Get a head start So. Run."

"Alright."

And with that, Solange took off ahead. Only a couple seconds later Beyoncé did the same, Dusk catching up. Making it down they saw car lights flashing and knew it was their father.

Tina stood to tell him everything, letting him know they were in a rush. He wasted no time heading to his duties. Although he felt like he needed to tag along. But he knew the strength his wife had and the strength she passed down to his girls.

They would be fine.

Once Mama Tina had herself onto Snow, standing beside her daughters, she let them know of some rules. No separating, no running ahead. And for Anna Mae, no talking to strangers too long, and if they cowboys don't even bat an eye.

A quick prayer went through Tina's head, a silent one praying for their safety. Praying for the safety of her friends who she now felt were family.

"Alright let's go." She sighed, heading down. They had flash lights on their belts for when they found their way into the neck of the woods. Every part needed to be searched. "Did it look like she was forced out Bey?"

"No. She left of her own. Everything was locked up even the front door. The animals had to be taken care of and they were all put away. She knew what she was doin."

"Poor baby....She on the search for Carol."

Beyoncé chewed on her lip. She couldn't help but to think, what if. Had she just told Onika what happened that night, she could've been with her. Holding her and letting her know everything would be fine.
