Whirl tells Chase the truth.

It came time for the recruits to head home, home as in to see their families as it was time for the academy on break. Whirl was very happy to be going on a bit of a break but at the same time, part of her still felt a little bit guilty about lying to Chase regarding the simulation he prepared.

despite having both her carrier and her sire as professors at the academy, none if it seemed to be strange to her. she knew it would probably be awkward if by chance the other recruits found out about this, but no part of her has slipped that up yet. She knows her carrier worked hard on that simulation and she couldn't help but feel guilty as he was working on the next one for them to do.

So there she was, sitting on her creator's berth, feeling so guilty while Chase was so zoned in on working on the simulation. part of her didn't even know Blades entered the room, which he immediately noticed that there was something wrong.

"Whirl, is something wrong?" He takes a seat next to his daughter, noticing how she doesn't have a big smile on her face like she normally does. "It is very easy to tell when you are upset."

"Yeah, I guess there is something that is bothering me." Whirl found herself tucking in her legs at herself, pretty much becoming a small little ball. "I said to the other though that I wouldn't tell."

"I remember those times back when I was younger." Blades says. "We said we would never tell and yet we still managed to do so without even realizing it. Whirl, I promise that I will not be mad because even though there are things that are told to be kept hidden, for some, it isn't something they can do."

"I know, but I still feel like I'm letting a bot down in the end." She says, still unsure if she should speak about what is on her processor.

"Sometimes doing things has that but in the end, if it was the right thing to do, it was worth it." Blades says, then pauses for a moment. "Oh my Primus, am I turning into Heatwave?"

Whirl was only looking in confusion, watching as her sire was having a moment when she was still feeling guilty. She knew that she couldn't keep hiding something like this, but she hoped that it wouldn't result in something bad.

"We all might have lied." Whirl starts to explain. "We lied about the simulation we did earlier today, we never did it."

Blades looked at her as if he didn't understand, part of him questioning exactly what she happened to be talking about right now.

"your records say you did one today." Blades says, knowing from the data which he had to process before he even came home to begin with.

"that wasn't carrier's simulation, it was one of Hot Shot's video games." she admits in defeat. Hot Shot switched it out and we did that instead, we lied and said we ended up doing it, I'm sorry."

"Whirl, did you still learn something from it?" She nodded, Blades then continued. "It wasn't a complete waste then, but you will need to tell Chase about it because last I checked, he was planning a test regarding the stuff on there."

"Ok, but you're not mad?" Whirl wanted to make sure that part of her was at least in the clear.

"No, because you still learned something, now go tell him what happened." Blades says watching as she slowly gets herself off the berth to walk over to Chase.

she walks over, nudging Chase a bit to get his attention. She knew to do this since she was always told that Chase never really hears anything when he is in deep concentration. when she nudged him he stopped with what he was doing, turning to look at Whirl.

"Is there something you need Whirl?" he asks, a bit curious to what she needs that might not be found by Blades.

"Earlier today when we had to do the simulation you made, well, we never did it." She explains again. "Hot Shot replaced it with one of his games instead, we still learned something but we lied that it was from what you made. I'm sorry."

"Well that was the last thing I expected, but I am not mad, Whirl." Chase replies, but thinking for a few moments, he then tells her more. "I did plan for a test on that simulation as well as this one I am making, and knowing Heatwave, fitting them both will be difficult and make him mad."

"Heatwave gets angry very easily though." Blades points out, still being in the room.

"I am happy you told me but I have no idea what this means now." Chase says, slowly going to pick up the phone to dial Heatwave. "Now, if you don't mind, I need to fix this."

Whirl felt much better after that, knowing she no longer felt so guilty about the situation that happened earlier. Yet, watching her carrier take the phone, something told her something bad was going to happen.
