Even with the whole Scraplet scenario, it was definitely not the first time there had been a Scraplet within the range of some bots.

Back before the Academy was officially open, Cody just so happened to come across a Scraplet who was roaming in the firehouse. he knew what Scraplets were but he never knew what they fully looked like, making him having the little thing at his side for the time being as a little secret pet.

Cody did really well on hiding the little one, the thing not even finding metal to munch on to make Cody think otherwise. He managed to keep it hidden for a whole day somehow, but the way he was ratted out could've been better.

He was in Chase's passenger seat when the Scraplet decided to come out of hiding from Cody's bag, which practically made the police bot throw them both out of him and back outside. Blades witnessed it and the minute he saw the Scraplet, he just had to scream, leading the two to be running for their lives as it was going to try and eat them both.

Boulder came around at one point and was then trying to kill it while also protecting the humans. Heatwave came up after hearing the chaos and casually managed to kill it before heading back down to fill out more stuff for the academy, which left everyone simply floored.

Long story short, Cody was grounded for a month.
