Heatwave only wanted to know who brought them along.

"High Tide!" Heatwave calls out from his spot, picking at the blanket as he waits for the mech to appear.
"Heatwave, I am not going to tell you who convinced them." High Tide says, not even entering the room at all.
"I wasn't going to ask that, I was going to ask for a blanket." He can hear High Tide sigh, then hearing the echoing steps as the mech finally appears into view.
"You already have a blanket." High Tide points out, also grabbing a cube of energon before he treads over to the red bot. "I am not telling you."
"Listen, when it comes to what happens at the academy, I technically have more authority over you." Heatwave mentions, which is true since his name is the main owner for the academy according to Cybertron. "I might have been trapped for an earth week underground with a boulder practically crushing me because it was ten times my size and weight but I still survived and that means I am allowed to know who let the recruits join that search party."
"Although you were trapped down there for an earth week and there were zero openings to get to you due to the many rocks and gravity covering any opening we tried to make; which is rather impractical," High Tide says. "You are alive and you need your rest."
"And I will rest better when I know who let the five of them go so I can stop worrying." Heatwave says. "It does not assure me that Optimus was late for that search party, Blurr was practically throwing himself on things, Quickshadow using nearly her entire inventory, Whirl damaging her propellor, Blades somehow lifting ten times the weight he normally does-"
"-I'm sorry, who told you all of this?" High Tide was extremely confused on how Heatwave even got all of this information.
"I am not done, anyway, where was I?" Heatwave says. "Right. Boulder was unable to keep a rope in his hands, Hoist nearly wrecked his hoist, Salvage grabbing the worst rope imaginable, Wedge nearly losing his arm, Medix losing his mind, Chase tripping on air, Hot Shot asking too many question then tripping you and You, you doing a terrible job trying to help me."
"And despite all of that, you are still forgetting what Ratchet told you." High Tide places the energon in Heatwave's servos. "You are malnourished and exhausted, not to mention you passed out when I brought you through the door. You need to recover first before doing anything else, which means you need to be stress-free."
"Stress-free? That medic has never had that in his life!" Heatwave says. "The only way I will be stress-free is if I find out who convinced the recruits to join the terrible search party."
"If you were at the academy you would've said something completely different." High Tide points out, knowing that any sort of hospital resemblance tends to freak the bot out for important reasons called trauma. "Anyways, notice something?"
Heatwave paused, finding himself getting a little groggy and feeling his 'guts' twist up in a horrible way. He groaned in pain, curling himself up into a ball where he sat to try and make the pain leave, but it was no use, he shouldn't have drank the energon High Tide had given him.
"High Tide-"
"Ratchet said it was normal for this to happen, it's from you being down there with nothing and now practically being force-fed."
High Tide took Heatwave, the little ball that he now had become, making sure to hold him. Surely when the stuff kicked in, the bot would either be out cold in a deserved recharge or be awake and able to actually have some more energon.
They just stayed like that for a while, not really moving and just being in silence. Heatwave slowly found himself uncurling as the pain was closing, but he overall felt heavy, pretty exhausted like he had a while back.
High Tide noticed how the bot was getting to be as tired as he looked, slowly getting up with the tired bundle that had become of Heatwave and bringing him to a spot where he could properly rest in peace.
Servo followed along as High Tide walked into the room, placing Heatwave on the berth as the mech's optics were clearly not too open. The robotic dog made sure to do the role that he thought would be assigned, jumping up to join Heatwave and laying there to somewhat watch over him as he rested to make sure he was alright.
"The recruits brought themselves." High Tide admits finally, knowing for a fact that it will finally stop bothering Heatwave. "Now get some rest."
"At least I don't have to beat up everyone." Heatwave comments, although his voice was only a low whisper.
Heatwave was practically out cold after that, High Tide fixing up the blankets on the bot before making sure to leave him to finally rest a bit more and recover.
When he is fully recovered, he needs to have a serious talk with the recruits.
