Heatwave and Blades have a nice little chat because they really need to.

"I get that you are back at work and you have told me everything is fine but you still seem out of it." Heatwave walks in, closing the door behind him.

"Yeah, I mean, I thought he was dead for so long and now he has been trying to talk to me." Blades answers. "I'm trying to get myself off of that because I don't know what to say to him, if I even do want to at all."

"Part of me wants to tell you to talk to him-"

"And what part of you is that? The part that has had too much High Grade or the one that is with Hightide?" Blades questions, Heatwave just looking at him weirdly.

"My companionship with High Tide has nothing to do with this, is Chase involved with this somehow?" Heatwave was not about to have all of that answered now. "And it is actually the happy part of me that is telling you to talk to him because you will never know if it is right unless you face him."

"Experience?" Blades asks, not finding this idea to be something that can work.

"Blades, I met both of my creators and found out about them on the same day and only after a bit I knew that I wanted nothing to do with them." Heatwave tells him with real honesty. "You never know unless you meet them and at least it is only one of the two you got."

"I guess you're right." Blades really still had to think about it, it was a very hard choice to make for himself.

"At least you have two creators, apparently there is a bot who has three."

"Three?!" Blades was quite sure that something like that is impossible. "How can you have three?! Why would anybot want three creators?! That makes it extra confusing!"

"It's like how our rescue groups were always four, like we kind of needed an extra bot with that stuff."

"And that is why I hated our academy years!"

"Isn't that how you found Chase though?" Heatwave checks. "Honestly, I am happy these recruits don't have to follow the traditional standards, they can be a group of five."

"Life before the war had such stupid standards." Blades says. "But who would want three creators?!"

"I don't know Blades!"

And then they argued over it, for a good bit too.
