After what Wedge pulled off for Dig Fest, despite being technically ok, he was still going to get checked up regardless just to make sure. surely, this job tends to be done by Blades but this time around, he actually was busy with something that he needed to renew (well, none of them were fully sure on what he said but guessed it was something like that) and so Heatwave ended up having to do it instead.
Wedge was questioning so many things the entire time and quite frankly ended up asking more questions than he intended on asking. Heatwave didn't really respond to them because he spent most of the time trying to find some of the tools because he has no idea how the stuff was organized in the room as it tends to be the very last place he goes.
Wedge was still told to be fine after that and was sort of demanded to at least rest well before next classes were to begin. When he did return to the dorm room that he shared with the rest of the recruits, he explained what happened and they all seemed to share in the confusion at the very moment.
When Boulder went to ask them how it all went to collect the pieces they were sent to get, he was met with the looks of confusion that all the recruits had while they were all staring at separate walls.
