LuLu was exhausted. She had just finished feeding and changing and putting to bed the triplets. Now she was resting on the sofa as she researched the most cute little baby outfits for the triplets to wear during the pageant. Which her little angels were a shoe in to win. Especially if the choices were as lame as that daughter of Spencer Lane's.

Hmmm. Maybe these little pumpkin dresses. Or the apple ones ? She thought little Ruby was shaped like a small apple so it might work out well.

She flipped the next page in her Parents And Babyhood magazine. Then her phone rang the theme song of the Adams Family. She made a face and answered it.

" Yes , Wheels ? Did you get that chair of yours stuck in a hole or something? Good luck with that. "

Spencer snapped tersely," What is that monster outside in your yard ? It tried to escape into my yard and headed right for my roses. "

LuLu began to laugh heartily. " Oh , you met Brutus. He's just a baby really. But don't fed him anything. He's on a very strict diet. Just like me. "

Spencer stammered out," Baby ! That is not a baby ! It's a.... a .....  kangaroo ! Where did you get it? I have never in my life seen a kangaroo in the country before. That can't be legal. I'm calling animal control. "
