" You need to stop drinking," Glory murmured as she watched Andrew swallowing a couple of aspirin with water in the kitchen. She was worried about him. She had been for a long while. Ever since her cancer diagnosis. Ever since Richard had been shot. Ever since Jenessa had been killed. It was a little too much drama for him , she could tell. Actually it was probably too much drama for everyone including her.
She stood up from the kitchen chair and stretched her arms. She was feeling slightly energized today. Her last tests at the doctor showed fairly promising results of which she hoped and prayed would continue. Going over to her husband she wrapped her arms around him from behind.
Andrew shook his head. " I have. It was just one time. I can handle drinking. You know I read an article about alcoholics that manage to drink regularly and still live their lives. "
Glory clicked her teeth in disapproval. " You mean alcoholics who haven't realized they are alcoholics yet. You know you can't do that. Please promise me you won't drink again. "
Andrew leaned closer to her and closed his eyes briefly. " I can handle it. It was one fluke moment. That's all. I'm fine. How are you doing? Saw Alfred today at the hospital. That damn Scott Sands was there annoying him. Alfred needs to get a restraining order on him. Not that it helped Lyle with that Roman fellow. "
" I'm fine. Feeling a little better today. Better enough to make you a nice breakfast. After we eat we can maybe go see Alfred and Dodie and the kids too ? " She hesitated. " And if you want we can drop by an AA meeting. "
Andrew pulled away slightly and shook his head stubbornly. " No need. I fell. I climbed back up. I'm fine. But breakfast and everything else sounds just great. "
