As the evening settled in, Kylie curled up with Stormi on the couch in their suite. She wrapped her arm around her daughter, smiling softly as she brushed a strand of hair from Stormi's face.

"How was your day with Mama?" Kylie asked, genuinely curious but also feeling a hint of concern. She had noticed how distant Jordan had been lately, and she wondered how the day with all the kids had gone.

Stormi beamed, her eyes lighting up. "It was so much fun, Mommy! We went to the beach, and we played in the sand, and we had ice cream! Mama even made funny faces at Aire and made him laugh so much."

Kylie's smile grew wider. "That sounds wonderful, baby. I'm glad you had a good time. Did Mama meet any new friends?"

Stormi's face lit up even more, and she nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! We met a lady named Tiana. She's really nice and funny. She played with us and had ice cream too!"

"Tiana?" Kylie repeated, trying to keep her voice neutral, but she couldn't help the slight edge that crept into her tone. "What was she like?"

Stormi thought for a moment, scrunching her little nose in concentration. "She's really pretty, and she was so nice to everyone. Mama and Tiana talked a lot, and they laughed a lot too. I think Mama really likes her."

Kylie felt a twinge of jealousy prick at her heart. She forced a smile, trying to keep her emotions in check. "That sounds... nice. Did Mama say anything else about Tiana?"

Stormi shook her head. "No, but I think they're going to meet again later. Tiana gave Mama her phone number. Maybe they're going to play together again."

Kylie's grip on Stormi tightened just slightly, her mind racing. "Oh, did she now?" she said, trying to sound casual. "Well, I'm glad Mama had a fun day with you."

Stormi didn't notice the change in her mother's demeanor. She simply snuggled closer, yawning as the excitement of the day began to catch up with her. "I love Mama," she murmured sleepily.

Kylie's heart softened at that, and she kissed the top of Stormi's head. "I know you do, sweetie. And Mama loves you too."

But as Stormi drifted off to sleep in her arms, Kylie couldn't shake the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. Who was this Tiana, and why was Jordan suddenly so interested in spending time with her? The questions lingered in her mind, even as she tried to push them aside, telling herself that it was nothing.

Yet, deep down, she couldn't help but feel a little jealous, and a little worried, about what this new friendship might mean for her and Jordan.
