As Ishaan and Isha sat together, a girl approached them, her eyes fixed on Ishaan. "Would you like to sit in the open space?" she asked, her gaze lingering on him. Ishaan sighed internally, recognizing the girl as Priya, the one who had been following him around since yesterday. He was tired of her persistent attempts to get his attention.
When Priya reached out to grab his arm, ready to lead him, Ishaan gently but firmly stopped her. "It's Isha who needs support, not me," he said, his tone polite . Priya flushed red with embarrassment, her hand hovering awkwardly in the air before she quickly moved to offer support to Isha instead.
Isha, however, hesitated. "No, thank you," she declined softly. What will people say? I just arrived yesterday, and now I'm roaming around like it's my own house—palace.
But Ishaan, being stubborn, didn't let her protest for long. With a determined expression, he scooped her up carefully. "Ishaan, put me down!" she whispered urgently, her face flushed with embarrassment.
Ignoring her plea, Ishaan carried her out to the garden, a long walk but one worth the effort. He gently placed her on the soft grass and sat beside her, ensuring she was comfortable. Priya, still trying to win Ishaan's attention, quickly sat on his other side, flashing him a hopeful smile.
Ishaan, visibly weary, made a crying face and said, "Priya, I like guys." His tone was serious.
Priya, undeterred, giggled and replied, "That's okay. I'll make you like me."
Isha, unable to hold it in any longer, shook with silent laughter, her body trembling as she tried to keep her amusement hidden. She finally managed to stifle her giggles and nudged Ishaan playfully. "Why don't you go and talk with her?" she suggested, her tone light and teasing.
Priya's face lit up at Isha's words, and she exclaimed, "Thank you, bhabhi sa!" Isha realized what she had said.
Ishaan burst into laughter, seeing Isha's flustered expression. "But... but I'm not married yet..."
"Well," Priya continued with a small grin, "according to what I know about Bhai sa, once he declares something, it's set. He's as stubborn as Bade Papa."
Priya eagerly grabbed Ishaan's hand and led him off for a garden tour, leaving Isha alone with her thoughts. She looked up and noticed Vittorio standing nearby, his gaze fixed on Ishaan, who was listening to Priya ramble on about flowers.
Vittorio approached Isha, bowing slightly as he greeted her. "Ma'am, Sir sent me to look after you. He is in the palace and will come to meet you in a few minutes."
Isha, feeling a bit shy, responded in a soft voice, "That wasn't necessary, really..."
Vittorio maintained his respectful tone. "It's Boss's order, ma'am."
After a brief pause, Isha hesitated but wanting to test something asked, "May I ask you something?"
Vittorio nodded. "Of course, ma'am."
Isha pointed towards Ishaan and Priya. "Do you think Ishaan and that girl look good together?" she asked. "I've been trying to find someone for Ishaan to date, and Priya has a crush on him, so I'm thinking of matchmaking them."
Vittorio looked down, exhaling deeply before replying, his eyes still on Ishaan. "Maybe someone who can take care of him will suit him better," he said, his voice calm but Isha can see his feeling for Ishaan.
